Well I don't know what is in their terms and conditions about this but usually this is all taken into account when they settle your claim.

What FOS would do in a case like yours is to work out what your loan would have cost without any PPi and what your settlement WOULD have been without PPI and then what your repayments would have been without PPI and pay it all back to you but this is the FSCS and a different story.

Thanks marshallka, I suppose I will just have to wait and see what the FSCS come up with.
Cheers anyway, the wait goes on:mad:

These commissions DO NOT have to be actually disclosed but they usually have in their small print that the broker would receive some. Also commissions are not actually paid by you as such and as a "commission" payment but are paid over by the lender to the broker cause they got the silly person to sign up to a ridiculous PPI that is actually another loan with a hell of a lot of interest.

I think the actual salesperson gets a bonus/commission also if they sell it , not just the broker.

The more I think about it marshallka the more :mad::mad::mad: I get

    Thanks

It will all be ended soon and then you can thank yourself lucky you are finally rid of them. The interest is not in line with anything really as to be in line with BOE it has to have been stated (that is why we pay a fee when we apply for a mortgage that is reduced rate or tracker etc) and they can put their interest rates up as and when they like. FP used to put mine up whenever I requested a settlement from the look of the sar. I know that FP complaints are campaigning for this now as FP no longer issue loans so have no name to uphold and its a long haul for them. Picture will be similar I would think.

So not on, marshallka, if it wasn't for the SAR you just wouldn't have a clue what they were up to.
I will just a another look at the T&Cs 9I ( I should really know these be heart) as I have read them so many times
    thanks

    marshallka,
Hope I am not doing your head in:eek::eek::eek:
    Quote
We may,at Our discretion, from time to time vary Our interest rates to reflect a change which has occured or which We reasonably expect to occur, in interest rates generally(although there will be no obligation upon Us to do so) or to redress any reduction in our profitability caused by changes to legislation. We will give You 30 days notice in writing before any such variation is applied.

Although there is no obligation etc confuses me:confused:

Just another part on NCB. I think someone was asking if this would be paid direct to Picture. It states all claims with the exception of the NCB will be paid to reduce loan balance but the NCB is paid direct to the Insured person
