I do know what it is like and we could have taken the easy option stayed in the council house and gone bankrupt, that would have been an end to all of it, but no house. We would have had all this money which the BR wuld have taken anyway. That was not an option at all for us it just did not feel right. We chose the hard route and still have all our debt but our home. Beleive me when I say I have chosen the best route for me. I perfectly understand where you are coming from Marshallka and as I said you have not offended me at all hun:AI think that even if I had no debt from secured or unsecured I would find it very difficult to pay it all to Picture after hat they have put us through. I am not able to work due to my health and we relied upon that PPI to support my illness and finances. I know that if I had had the truth from them with regards to the PPI I would not have taken the loan. therefore I would not be in this position now. You have helped me immensly Marshallka and I am trully grateful for all your opinions and advice:A:A
Thanks for that dialysis. It really means a lot. I sometimes feel like there are some on here that only want to hear like minded points of views and nothing else and that anyone with anything different is certainly made to feel "different". We all have our own troubles to deal with as well but seems one thing in common, money worries and we all know how to deal with them for ourselves but i was just trying in my own way to be helpful and give another view, certainly not to judge and make people feel wrong..

Thanks again dialysis. I have wanted you to win so much to keep your house and keep it forever too. :A

I think we all make our choices for the reasons we do at the time and we live with those. There is no right or wrong and what is good for one person does not work for others.

Pinknico, I was not judging or trying to make anyone feel judged. Its certainly up to any individual how they use the money from Picture and I agree to that and nothing is right or wrong but when you are in debt its very difficult to get a charging order over a property for unsecured debt, they usually set up repayment orders and it can take a few times in the courts whereas with a secured debt you are contracted that if you cannot repay they can take your home. Secured debt is different. I know that dialysis will know what its like to live with the threat of losing your home. You can live without credit pinknico but not without a roof over your head. I am not judging anyone, I am purely just putting over my point of view which is what the site is about:confused:.

Sorry if it sounded like I was judging and saying it was "right". You have to do what is right for you I suppose.

Didnt sound like you were judging etc I just meant people shouldnt feel that, not you were. Everyone has a view and quite right to, how boring if we didnt.

And yes you do have the right do do what is right for you, totally agree.

Not seen any posts by Gumbi for a while hope he is ok and not waiting much longer.

Been laid up with cold for a few days......still no sign of cheque for me yet but totally made up for all those that have have woken up from the nightmare of the last 2 years!

Seeing the crques arrive has made me feel better and, as my home is not at risk I have no problem waiting if it's sorted for those that are:p

Just a matter of a few more days I would imagine but fear not I will post up once it's here:D

I will be very happy when you get your cheque as your inside information was invaluable during the (many) months leading up to Pictures Default.
