That's why I say dialysis, it's personal circumstances. I know my daughter is in the same position, wanting to reduce her monthly outgoings, means a lot more to them at this moment in time.;):j:beer:

Busbyh, I was only saying that cause I know that people have been at threat of their homes as its "secured" and with credit card debts they are not. IF there ever came a time in someones life again whereby they needed to reduce their outgoings then unsecured debts only mean a dmp whereas secured loans mean repossession. If you were to be advised by a debt advisor after having troubles then they would always say to pay the secured (mortgage and secured loans) first and ask for help on the others. I certainly would not risk my home again ever if it mean't to me a choice of paying off credit cards/loans or secured loans. I know by missing on the credit cards etc it would not mean me being homeless. Just my view and i have seen so many on here saying they are already struggling with the repayments. If its not repaid against the loan then really its only like having "more" in a secured loan to consolidate other debts. Not always a wise move as I found out.

Please don't take offence here folks as my views are only my views. :o Its totally up to any individual.

Marshallka Youre not offending anyone, but as busbyh says every has to do what is best for them and no one knows what that is except that person and they are entitled to do it and not feel judged or wrong.

unfortunatly I think it is still the case if you get in trouble with loans and creditcards the companies can get the debt secured against your house.
And if you work out how much interest you would pay on having a credit card there would not be much difference in the long run as the interest rates on credit cards can be 3 x as much as picture loan.

I hope everyone does what is best for them with the money, enjoy the fact you are in the position that you got the money back and most importantly whether it be a chocolate bar or a new car TREAT YOUR SELVES. XX
