Hi Alyson, I started mine off in May this year, so it was quite late compared to most on here. I was wanting to do it earlier but I kept getting told I couldn't because of Picture going bust. I was very lucky to come across this thread which gave me all the info I needed to go ahead anyway.
What about yourself? When did yours go in? :)

i think the process of unenforcibility is a legal minefield, i would not like to go down this route, you will not get legal aid and may lose at the end of the day. this will take more than a template letter and a few stamps, i understand what marshalka is saying and these companys should not get away with using false info, maybe this could be the start of a complaint? but you may need more than that to take this forward to unenforcibility. but i think its what the agreement says that you signed in the beginning that may have certain things omitted. if you all choose to try and go that route i wish you all the best of luck, but a process like this will take a very long time to do and as it says in martins email this is not guaranteed. and you could be chasing your tails, the mbna card that was wiped off was only in a small claims court and does not set a precedence. dont build your hopes up for what may be a costly down fall. it would take a lot to get a secured loan or a mortgage wiped out. sorry to p*ss on your bonfire but that is my personal opinion and i think you have all been through enough this past couple of years and i wouldnt wish anymore stress on any of you. hope the postie brings some good news for more of you today xxx please feel free to shoot me down in flames if i have offended

I tend to agree with you on this one amersall. I don't think I could put myself through all this stress when at the end of the day, it could end uo being very costly to us. Not just in fianancial terms, but stress etc. I would wish anybody who does goes down this the road , the best of luck though

It would be good if maybe Martin could publish this through the press or his tv shows. Make as many people as posible aware they can claim. If you only came across the site by chance, I wonder how many others out there have yet to claim.

We only found out by chance from my niece who is a FA about PPI claims. We owe her big time if we get this cheque:D

I wonder if the FSCS have got any contingency plans for cheques, if this postal strike goes ahead.

When I think about it they could not make a BACS transfer, as we have to agree the amount before the cheque is cashed. SO that rules that method of payment out!!!!
