Hopefully we will receive the information requested from new lender(same as what deloittes have requested) and fax it on to them. They cannot say they haven't rcd it then. My son in law did say to deloitte that he would call them himself, but they said there would not be much point - don't understand that really. - why not, it can only help the process, you would think!!!!

It can't be that complicated, the loan was finished with picture and they have all the details of the new lender etc.

    Hi Alyson and welcome.;)

Yes I used my loan account number as well so please write that down.;)

There are many on here in the same situation and have not settled, I do however believe the refund is sent directly to you, despite if being settled or not, I'm sure these lovely lot on here will clarify this to you.

Good luck and please feel free to join in anytime as well and please keep us posted.

    Hi Al
It is the same as your Picture Account no. As far as I am aware we were not even given a policy , let alone a policy number

We were lucky and managed to pay it off by taking out a second mortgage with our BS. and saved a fortune in interest rates in the process:D and took it out over the remainning term of the mortgage which is 19years. We still had 23 years to run with Picture at the time. saving 4 years of payments at a much less monthly payment
    xx

we were paying £350 pm to Picture and I think £290 to BS(might be less)

We should love weekends, but we will have no news of "CHEQUES" which is what we are all waiting for.
    Never mind, soon be Monday;)

Got X FACTOR live finals to look forward too tonight

Hi everone, hope you are all well today.:D

I had a questionaire Thursday, faxed it back Friday to deloittes(loan is still outstanding!), then this morning, i get a call from the FSCS, a lovely man i might say, asked me some questions about the first application form we first filled it, so i guess deloittes have sent ours back then to FSCS then.
He said that there was no descion made at this time as they were going to send for final assesment, he finally asked if we had filled in who we want the compensation paid to.

What do you make of this?

    Thanks love Lian xx
