I have been checking this site out regularly over the past few months - but only just got around to posting, hope you don't mind me joining in!!
WELL, We like all on here also have a claim against PICTURE for the mis-selling of PPI (God damn that company - they make my blood boil!) However, we are way behind in the claim process compared to some of you guys.
Here's a bit about us, we originally borrowed £65,000 (BIGGEST mistake of my life-so far) the PPI added was £16,500 ish and we have had the loan since July 2006. My claim no is between 600 + 700 and we have just received a questionaire to fill out for Deloitte, I was just wondering if everyone else had to do this???? and if so does anyone know how long the process is from here? and when do you actually find out if you have a valid claim or not?
SORRY for all the questions that have probably been answered 100 times already but with out first baby due in 2 months time I have alot on my mind (money wise) hence the reason why I can't sleep and am posting this at 5:45am. Hope you don't mind me introuding on your thread.

Hi Al and welcome,
think pinknico has answered your questions well. It is this site that keeps us all sane and where we find out what is going on. Without it we would be lost.
As for PICTURE it's something we all regret and rue the day we ever heard of them.:mad:
Things are now looking up though and some payments have been made. I am hoping ours will be through within the next few weeks. Just waiting for Deloitte to send it through to FSCS.
Keep posting and I am sure if you have any questions you will get help from here.
Just look after yourself and look forward to the birth of your new baby.
I'm sure everything will work out for us all here. We have to remain optimistic. It has been a long haul but we are now reaching the end:D(hopefully)!!!!!:beer:dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Thanks Mamamia - yes a lot happier now.
My post has arrived this morning - you will never guess - I have another cheque, it is a duplicate of yesterdays cheque and letter - me thinks someone has made a wee mistake and hit the print button twice.
I was all excited for a second till I realised - Damm! gonna have to send it back - just proves they can't get it right.
I will phone on Monday just in case they are being extra generous

Hi everyone, hope your all well.:A
As our Di says there is some info in regards of the Questionnaires on the FSCS website, here:
http://www.fscs.org.uk/consumer/latest_news/2009/oct/PPI_Supplementary_Questionnaire_forms/
PPI Supplementary Questionnaire forms
We recently sent out supplementary questionnaires to a number of PPI claimants, to help us obtain as much information as possible and progress these claims.
If you have received one of these forms, we would like to clarify that their prompt return is absolutely necessary for your claim to be progressed.
Failure to return a completed PPI Supplementary Questionnaire may lead to significant delays in processing your claim, or even the FSCS being unable to pay you compensation.

Hello Al and welcome to the thread that keeps you sane!
I will try and answer some of your questions and I know the others will post later as well.
A few claimers have had this questionnaire if they have settled this loan with another provider, this is so Deloitte can work out what interest you have been
paying on the PPI part and they can add this to the calculations.
As to timescales cant really help you with that it has varied so much. But the next stage to go to is Deloittes returning your claim back to the FSCS for checking.
People have only found out if they have a claim when a cheque is ready to be sent out.
Take care of yourself with only two months to go and come and join us when ever you can.xx
Hi pinknico
I'm surprised we haven't had this questionaire yet, as you know we settled with another provider. they asked for the extra info from us via email. I suppose may still send one out to usdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Original PPI Claims Update
Hi di
Hope you are feeling better today.
So it is essential to complete the questionairre. Why have we been told so many different things. Some have been told to ignore as it was sent out in error.
I am going to email deloitte and FSCS regarding the information we are being given. with regards to completing this - or not!!!!!!!
EDIT
On reading this update it looks as though they have been made aware of the conflicting advice being given
I wonder how many claimants have ignored this because of the advice given and not seen it on the FSCS site, and are unaware it could affect their claim - quite worrying this.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Hiya hun hope your well.;)
Not feeling too bad thank you for asking, throat slightly sore but managable.:A
Its confusing isn't it in regards of this questionnaire?, was thinking though, this must be pretty new with them and maybe the claims they almost completed they did not bother but the ones they are about to assess are sent these out.
I don't know....., but I would suggest that anyone who have not had one yet is to contact them to make sure that one have not been sent and maybe delayed in the post, if this is the case, this will hold them up assessing the claims.
I'm sure they can send these by email attachment instead, due to the postal disputes, for the quickest method.
Then print them off, complete and send by email attachment, if anyone has these facilities.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I just want to say before the excitement takes over -
Dialysis, Di3004, Marshallka, Beaniebabe, Pinknico, Busby, Amershall, Pengi, Mamamia and any one else on this forum that I have forgotten to mention - thank you very much for holding my hand through this process - for your chat, support when I felt so down, the ups and downs during this roller coaster of a journey.
I look forward to hearing from everyone that they have received their cheques - I am sure it will be very soon.
Then moving on together with proving that not only were these PPI missold but so were the Loans!!!.
Good luck to you all and thank you again for the friendship you have all shown towards me.
Love you loads

Think I will tell my son-in law to give deloitte a ring on Monday, just to be sure. It could be held uo in the post somewhere.
Though he did speak to them on Friday and they are just waiting for the exact interest paid from the new lenderdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0
