    Hi everyone,

I have been checking this site out regularly over the past few months - but only just got around to posting, hope you don't mind me joining in!!

WELL, We like all on here also have a claim against PICTURE for the mis-selling of PPI (God damn that company - they make my blood boil!) However, we are way behind in the claim process compared to some of you guys.

Here's a bit about us, we originally borrowed £65,000 (BIGGEST mistake of my life-so far) the PPI added was £16,500 ish and we have had the loan since July 2006. My claim no is between 600 + 700 and we have just received a questionaire to fill out for Deloitte, I was just wondering if everyone else had to do this???? and if so does anyone know how long the process is from here? and when do you actually find out if you have a valid claim or not?

SORRY for all the questions that have probably been answered 100 times already but with out first baby due in 2 months time I have alot on my mind (money wise) hence the reason why I can't sleep and am posting this at 5:45am. Hope you don't mind me introuding on your thread.

    AL x :o
Hi Alyson and welcome to our we never sleep thread lol congrats on baby Alyson or Albert, sorry couldnt think of anything else too early, look after yourself wont be long now hun. I got one of them forms and have sent it back Like Pinknico says all claims are different timescales and I am not sure if the ref no makes any difference, I think they are going on when they receoved the original claim forms back. If I am wrong someone on here will put me straight. To be honest that much has happened you forget who said what when and where. But good luck with it hun and kepp posting to let us know how you get on. xxxx

Sorry I haven't been on-line for a while, very busy at work and have done about 60 hours plus this week.

Well done, so pleased that you have received a cheque as well. So it may continue for everyone else waiting for cheques against these crooks!!

I'm sure you will sleep more soundly now, I know I have since the money came through x
Thanks Mamamia - yes a lot happier now.

My post has arrived this morning - you will never guess - I have another cheque, it is a duplicate of yesterdays cheque and letter - me thinks someone has made a wee mistake and hit the print button twice.

I was all excited for a second till I realised - Damm! gonna have to send it back - just proves they can't get it right.

I will phone on Monday just in case they are being extra generous

I did not receive a questionaire from Deloitte - all I did was write to FSA - who sent me a claim form they passed this to FSCS and I had to wait till Picture were in default - 1 week after this date I received a telephone call from Deloitte asking me a couple of questions - I had a couple of calls from FSCS then the cheque arrived yesterday and another today (the 2nd one is a mistake a duplicate of the 1st).

    Hope it helps
