Son in law spoken to deloitte, confirmed they have received all paperwork. They think they have all they need now. Will finish calculations and send of to FSCS. They wouldnt give anything away. Wouldn't say if he had a succcessful claim or not, so we are still waiting and hoping!!!

Can i have some advise please, I have raised a complaint via the ombudsman on the grounds of hardship, the Halifax have taken around £6k now from em in charges over the last few years, the orginal offer to settle from the Halifax was a mere £22.00, the second offer is £511.00 which I think it rubbish too but the ombudsman is advising me to take this as full and final on finc hardship with my claim remaining open for the rest of the charges pending the outcome next month, is this good advise? Thanks0
