I have to ask, as seperate to all this polava with the PS3, and I'm not asking this as an Argos employee (read the signature ) is that when people say "I want the managing director's email/address/telephone number" they expect to get it, and that they will respond personally?

IMHO If I was a frequent and loyal customer I'd rather have a chief exec making sure that my favourite chain was financially secure and sustaining in a competitive market than personally responding to Mrs F. Brown about her faulty £24.99 toaster that a store wouldn't do anything about 18 months after purchase...

Just a random thought really, I see many threads around the forum demanding contact details for a chief exec :rotfl:

I wrote to an exec at GAME a couple of years back. She didn't reply personally but her secretary did and I got enough vouchers to buy MGS4

I was complaining about the length of time it took for them to reply to an email btw.

I must just write great letters!!!!
