me and my oh met when i was 15 he was 18 that age gap seemed huge back then. We got engaged on my 18th birthday so we were together 3 years married 2 years later after dd1 turned up. Been together 8 years and married 2

OH and I were together for 4 years before we got engaged and were married a little under 2 years after that. Been married just over 2 years now and to be honest I cant see the point and dont know why we did it (although it was a lovely day)- i suppose for security and family pressures, but we were happy before and already had children together so were comitted anyway.

I can update that after 6 years, my, now Fiance, proposed last Wednesday. I was so shocked, had no idea he was going to, and was quite used to the fact we'd just carry on as we were. We will probably get married next year in the summer on a nice beach. Although if our DD(4) had her way we'd be married tomorrow, she thinks its great and cant wait to get a pink dress to wear!
So dont give up hope, he may just be planning it secretly!

I started going out with my bf when I was 17 and I'm now 22 and we are still together. We live together now and are saving for a house. No engagement ring yet, but cant wait until it happens.
