Don't start it later Penny - otherwise how could I nick everyones ideas and know what to buy tonight at the supermarket!
Frequently don't post mine -cos they seem a bit boring - but here goes:
Sat - Mosaic Carrot and Green bean pie (from a lovely foodie blog)
Sun - Roast Pork, garden veg, carrots, stuffing and onion sauce
Mon - Cod in butter sauce, new pots and garden veg
Tue - Vegetable Moussaka with garlic bread
Wed - Tuna cheese plait with garden veg
Thurs - HM cheese and tomato pizza with salad
Fri - Ploughman's lunch with crisps
Meadows - I have to say that I also tend to stick to my plans mostly. I seem to take comfort from looking at the list on the wall and having one less thing to think about and it avoids getting miffy when the boys ask 'whats for tea mum'.
Don't know why it flusters me but on a bad day its the last thing I want to hear and I LOVE cooking, too.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Your tuna cheese plait sounds rather tasty - how do you make that, please?Back after a very long break!0 -
Hi everyone, this looks like a good way of getting more inspiration into an otherwise boring diet
Mind if I join in? Here goes...
Friday: Chicken Saag Masala with Brown Rice (although that might change if we're out for a b'day party)
Saturday: Chilli con Carne with Sauteed Potatoes
Sunday: Low-Fat Lamb Kebabs with Pitta Breads and Salad (weightwatchers)
Monday: Leftover Chilli Put Through Pasta With Bits In
Tuesday: Probably going for dinner at Mum's
Wednesday: An Omelette of some description for quickness' sake
Thursday: Black Bean Chicken with Noodles
For lunches there'll be sandwiches (bacon, ham or turkey - can't wait til I get my meat-slicer!) with either fruit or leftover wedding cake for dessert/treats. I still need to find some easy and healthy things to bake for when that runs out though. Breakfasts ... I really need to start eating those.
Thanks for letting me take partTrying for daily wins, and a little security in an insecure world.0 -

Actually its a really easy recipe my MIL used to cook when she was with us.
You just make a cheese sauce and add the tuna and some lightly sauted onions and mushrooms to it.
Roll out a rectangle of puff pastry- pop it on the baking sheet and place the tuna mix down the centre, leaving the same distance either side of pastry.
Make cuts slightly vertically all the way down the sides and plait the pastry.
Brush with milk and cook at gas mk 6 or 200ish in elec for about 20 mins or until golden.
Its really lovely.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
