I can empathise with people who worked in shoe shops. I've worked in various shoe shops for 2 years, and the smell of some people's feet is disgusting. There was one that was so bad I was constantly gagging, and the smell lingered for about an hour afterwards. Even after airfreshener was sprayed

  • actually I used to work in a mobile burger van, that was awful, in the summer it was baking, in the winter it was freezing. We'd get all sorts, people opening the door and kids even throwing stuff into our van, fake orders! Customer treating you like you're a nobody, thats why I never work as waitor or in food again. Food never cooked on time, irate customers... bad memories!

Okay, I'm bored.... very bored and I thought maybe a lighthearted thread to cut through the doom and gloom of the current jobs market and unemployment would be good!

What has been your worst/funniest job? Get it off your chest.

Any amusing or embarrassing stories are welcome! :p
I thought the worst job was supposed to be the cleaner in an adult cinema :rotfl:
