The probiotics are worth a go.....I find them great for getting things back in balance. I always take them after I've had antibiotics too, just to kick start the good stuff.

Of that 7 things to make you happier in the next hour, in the last few hours, at any rate, I've done (1) taken a walk and (3) rid myself of a nagging task, by getting the foam sound insulation out of the loft. I thought I'd done more :o which shows it must work :D

I'm definitely going to try the probiotics. Mr S reckons I swallowed too much water at the swimming pool last week and the chlorine has killed my good bacteria :rotfl:

Am feeling a bit better today, but still quite lacking in energy and a bit blaaaah. Just remembered that one of my goals in this diary was to attempt to be happier (the clue is in the title Squizz :o).. so going to try to do a few things every day. Today I will be tidying my desk - it's not bad, but it's not 'uncluttered'; going for a walk at lunchtime; "acting happy" even if I'm not; and doing something else but I'm not sure what yet! Well done on getting two done Karma!

Yesterday I had a moment of madness (?) and emailed a University that does a distance learning Philosophy degree to find out about it, and see if I could use any of my previous study as credit against it. I think I would really like to finish a degree... I'd also quite like to combine some of this teaching/ training experience and maybe teach Philosophy in some form one day.

Right, time to do some work and :D

The probiotics might well work - I mean, chlorine kills stuff, thats why its there! And go for the happiness project, I've got it open on another tab at the moment :)

Well as Luc has challenged us on Daily Chat to do things involving the number ten, here's my progress for the day so far.

    1) paid £10 off my overdraft
    2) had a good walk at lunchtime
    3) spent 10 mins decluttering my desk

    4) done 10 mins work on one of the OpenLearn courses I've been looking at
    5) shared happiness project site link

    6) made a donation to a charity that means a lot to me
    7) shared the day with lovely DFW people

    8) come up with ideas for night out with Mr S (to talk about tonight)
