Hey Doodle - sorry things didn't work out.

Definitely don't think you need to 'grieve' any short relationship, even if you thought it was going somewhere.

One of my first abortive teen relationships left me feeling very down and I thought about the 'girl that got away' for years afterwards (and think that it coloured my views on women in general for a while).

Anyway, I recently found out that she is now married with a beautiful child. The cheesy lesson here is that life moves on and so should we ;)

Onwards and upwards - you have your DD, health and home - it's a good start.

    Morning hun,

    You feeling any perkier today?

I completely understand your still grieving your marriage, your relationship with your ex was 11yrs longer than mine and its only been a year since it ended, its been 4 months now since my ex left me and I am no-where near ready to touch another man, will take me a long time esp after being played again.

Whats your plans for weekend anyway?

I am ok today still a bit grumpy but nothing major.

Nothing planned, DD is with my ex today and most of tomorrow so going to do some house sorting. Have a few junk areas where I just threw things in the cupboards etc when moved in so going to have a clear out.

Then thinking i might crack open my Ebay shop, I have loads of stock in my garage and now through my new found single life have lots of time in the evenings lol

Me and my sister used to run an ebay shop selling underwear and swimwear but I stopped doing it when I split with my ex. Still have loads of stock in my garage though.

Yeah I am thinking thats what I need to do. Forget blokes etc and concentrate on getting a lump sum towards my mortgage, losing some weight and getting some self esteem back and making a happy home for me and DD
