It's short for 'signature' - the block of text you'll see sitting under people's posts (like mine, which lists debts etc.)

Speaking of sigs - that's a mighty sum you're aiming for Doodles!

A sig or signature is the bit at the bottom of all my posts, so I put in what I have paid so far, my debt free date and now a target towards my mortgage. You can put anything you like in there, some people have targets, some quotes etc.

If you click on the quick links bit above this box then edit signature you can design your own :D

Glad to see you are aiming for a manageable chunk! How long do you think it will take you to clear that?

Yeah I was wondering about that... Looking at paperhat progress a year could be doable but obviously I've not seen your SOA so have no idea on your current income and outgoings....

I was sat in a play area with my DD today - as in she was off playing on the slides etc while I was writing in my journal.... I was totting up all the things we now do differently... the bills we've done money makeovers on etc and it is no wonder that we are doing better! This like our home insurance we now spend £17 instead of £54, and phone and internet £25 instead of close to £48, we've knocked £100 a month off our grocery bill and stuff like that... It all adds up! I was getting really excited! I still can't believe that most months I hit the £10 a day challenge either! MSE and the forums really do make a massive difference!

Yeah think tomorrow Ill sit down and do my new SOA, will be depressing as my mortgage is like twice as much but then I have a bigger house. We really bought our last house at the right time but cant worry too much about it as obviously was forced into moving.

I really do need to get my butt back into making some more money as well.

Its a good feeling isnt it when you see those savings in black and white.

Think I am going to start my new diary tonight and do my new soa. Will be scary seeing the new figures as definately a more expensive house to run

Off shopping today with my sister so hoping to get a few more xmas presents. Really need to sit down and sort out what I already have as I have an awful habit of buying the kids way too much.
