Does anyone pay for the NTL packages in MK? I know every house gets the standard channels (plus a few), but does anyone else pay for extra channels?

What do you pay and what do you get? Do you have to take broadband and telephone? Or can you just get the TV packages on their own?

    TIA

I don't have any extra channels & I am seriously looking at other options at the moment as NTL have increased their monthly fee for the basic channels by about 40%. The only other options are an aerial or Sky. The Milton Keynes Broadband Action Group have brough this to the attention of our MPs, and are pressuring NTL for a date by which they'll upgrade to digital - but I don't think they are having much luck.

I spotted this yesterday, when I was in Brabanto

All remaining stock 25% off - not great, but better than nothing.

Not much left - but fridges, cookers, lots of small electrical appliances and more - worth a look (just!)

Elder Gate is opposite the hockey stadium on the other side of the H5.

Really swattie? Can you keep me update with this please? We have NTL for upstairs and get basic channels 1-5 and sky one, how much have they put this up to? We were paying about £2 something per month...well get it cut if it has gone up and will just get sky wired to upstiars instead.. only thing is wont have a choice of which channel to watch if someone else is down stairs...

Yep the fee has gone up to £4.00 per month, I was really annoyed because they told me if I signed up to Direct Debit the price would stay at £2.77 per month, but when the bill came in it was at £4.00. When I phone and queried this, I was told I was saving a £4.00 non DD charge per month!

We can get Freeview reasonably well where we live in Milton Keynes (Bradwell). But I do like Sky One (kids love the Simpsons), which we get on our basic package, so I'm reluctant to cancel NTL at the moment.

There's me thinking it had all gone quiet and only just realise that, instant email subscription means your subcription lasts for Mark 1 or Mark 2 and when the thread evolves in Mark 3 it stops!!

I should have realised you guys would still be chatting :rotfl:

Welcome to Traciemk, Im sure one or two of the group will take you out for a drink or two!

    Hello all,

I popped into Poundland on Tuesday and noticed that they have the single use cameras with flash - hope this might be useful to someone, so thought I would mention it!

    Afternoon all,

In my continuing quest to redecorate my house I am now looking for a bathroom man!

I want to completely strip the bathroom tiles etc and have a new suite fitted, then retile.

I know a good tiler, but looking for a good fitter?

    any ideas??
