Ok I'm not even attempting to catch up with you babbling lot;)
I've not been on today at all as El wouldn't let me go and when she went down for her nap I went out to do the shopping joy!!!
She is still not right, tripping over things walking into doors etc, she is mega sleepy so just keeping an eye on her, bless her little grumpy socks!!!

Hope your all well, someone want to quickly summerize the past 13ish pages, please please and pretty please!!

Oh and it doesn't help I'm still using this silly dongle as our house internet is still down, so connection is hit or miss just now 3 (great company:rolleyes:)

Sami - Funnily enough we are considering moving to OH's parents house, it's big enough. They are going to cordon off a part of the top floor and make it into a kinda self contained flat for us, I'd need a lock to keep OH's mum out! His dad is supposed to fill in tax forms (he's not self employed so dunno why he isn't taxed normally!) but he always forgets, so now he has a massive fine to pay AGAIN, once that's sorted he's going to see about it, all we'd need upstairs is electrics put in for cooking, and they'd need to sort a toilet out, they have one upstairs already but his dad had grand ideas, ripped it out and never fixed it! We'd obviously pay them rent, we'd save money, and be able to save for a deposit, and it is MUCH better schools round there (well it's only 1, with about 30pupils in the whole school....but better than round here thats for sure!)

Thing is though, they are a bit Mr trebus' esque, his dad is a serial hoarder, I'd probably end up hiring a skip and throwing all his crap out, seriously what does someone need with LITERALLY mouldy cushions? All part of the big plan eh stan!

They have a nice house, well the potential to be an amazing house but the size of it and the land is really too much upkeep for lazy him and OH's mum works, though she doesn't need too, and when she does do "chores" it's always in her vegetable garden lol. The inside needs fumigated, it smells a bit damp, they need to put double glazing in, the roof is fine, they paid 30k to fix it  had to get special tiles!

OH says that people like buying houses like theres that need done up on the inside, I say he's mad......people like buying NICE HOUSES! DECORATED NICELY!! With no manky old bathtubs at the front!

Finally caught up! Have been out most of the day with mum and little bro. DH's cold has now turned into a URTI with Bronchitus so took LO out so he could sleep without being disturbed.
Have spent the night watching the beginning of House series 4. I have to say that Hugh Laurie is getting sexier each episode, however given half the chance I would definitely do Jesse Spencer! :D

Tine, our Working At Home policy specifically states you must not be looking after children at the same time. Just watch out for that one..

I was talking to a lady on Sunday who thought (but clearly found out differently) that she could look after her daughter whilst 'working' at home and was outraged that her boss had 'had a quiet word' - the bl00dy cheek of it - I would sack her in a second if it were me...how the f00k can you be working if you have a baby at home!!!!!
And having written a tender with a well behaved baby I know!!!

  • Well I bottled talking to the baby bop lady :o

    I did, however, sing:

If you're happy and you know it stamp your feet
(when they were singing if you're angry)

If you're happy and you know it have a smile
(when they were singing sad and cry :( )

If you're happy and you know it say hello
(when they were singing naughty and sorry )

I do intend to speak to her....but it is the most echo-ey room ever and I didn't want the rest of the group to hear me objecting....nobody else seems to care  although I havent asked :o
