When I announced my pregnancy with ds1, my dad said - 'I expected it years back, I'm just surprised it's taken you this long'
What was he trying to say!!!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

My mum was present when I gave birth (not by choice, its just by then I was too tired and a little bit too distracted to say anything). Its only afterwards that I cringe that she was at the bottom end of proceedings (she actually sat on a beanbag on the floor down there, perhaps she planned to catch the baby if she flew out!) and that she also grabbed my boob and shoved it in Leila's mouth about 20 seconds after her birth to help with the breast feeding. I could have done without that sort of help, thank you very much.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0

What I found hilarious was that OH and I weren't allowed to sleep in the same room at him parent's even after I was pregnant :rotfl: obviously whatever their plan was didn't work lol
 might have been a bit late with that one :rotfl:
My MIL obviously had very different ideas on what her only son could do in comparison to her daughters. Her eldest girl came home from England for a holiday 3 or 4 times with her fiance and they were made to sleep in separate rooms,...... then they went on holidays and told me and Chris to use the house while they were away to give us some privacy as we shared a flat with another couple :rotfl:The two best things I have done with my life
