We're watching Dark Knight too. Havent had much time to be on lately. Been batch cooking today. I started at 8.30 this morning and didnt finish till after 5.
Rose is in bed asleep. She went from 7.30 last night till 6.15 this morning, even then daddy got up with her so I had a little lie in till 8.
Havent caught up yet but hope everyone is okay xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
I just read on Facebook that my brother watched that film Krystal...apparantly it is brill:)
I made cup cakes today too, I did some plain vanilla ones and some chocolate ones, they were lovely...(didn't ice the though and I am very impressed with Keira's icing talents)
Kai was a little booger all night....he refused to sleep for longer than 30mins a time and all day wouldn't do more than a couple of 15mins naps!! He was a right grump with it too.....it has been a very tiring day.
I hope he improves tonight, it is our wedding anniversary tomorrow (7yrs) although we are not doing anything, I would like for us to not both be shattered, and snapping at each other all day:(
Oh and I was watching X-Factor until dh just HAD to go on a Zombie shooting spree;)

evening all,
was just about to say why is there nothing on telly, only to stubble across a justin timberlake's top 20 (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm).
MFD - hope you are all okay. hugs and kisses all right. hope DSS has got his colour back. bless him, he must have been so frightened. i too am on extra alert when i have baby girl on the bed after what happened to seth (and now benjamin).
hope r.mac is enjoying herself (and that you will be too soon MFD). i am going to spend some time tonight searching for the lovely long haul flights. i really need to go next month i think so need to get my skates on.
sleep -- we are making some progress, not on the length of sleep during the night, but the starting time to go off. i now give baby girl her dinner between 5pm and 6pm. bath her by about 7pm (thanks for the tesco product recommendations emlou) and then she has a bottle after and can be alseep any time between 7.30pm to 8.00pm.
she will not always sleep for a good strech from this time, but usually she may wake about 10pm or so. if she doesn't wake i normally do not wake her to feed her, although i am thinking of trying this (dream feeds do not seem to work for us) i feed her then, but she is still waking every 2-3 hours.
i found it really helpful to read about fritha/ladybirdintheuk/r.mac/bruno's experience as i try and take bits and pieces from what they do that might work for us.
i was talking to a friend and said i felt so much pressure (or that i am putting so much pressure on myself) to have baby girl going off to sleep on her own. but i keep repeating to myself the jest of r.macs post (and MFD's advice to me) a while back in that what is important is what works for you and your family.
buttons -- tell kiera congrats from me!!!!!! and i love the look of the muffins0 -
I've just started a bath running but it'll take ages yet..
Have just been telling OH about the latest offers email I've got from a local restaurant so I think we might treat ourselves.. first night out together in 16weeks plus0 -
buttons --- join me watching justin (my hubby is out too) :-)0

Angel - Dream feeds never worked with any of my boys either.....I just couldn't ever get them to drink while half asleep....so they would just become restless and whine, and then wake as usual throughout the night!
I really agree that while they are little just do whatever works for you and babes to all get some sleep...as long as you are happy and managing day to day without being exhausted then that is fine:) It all works out in the end I promise;)

wel im bored again now xfactors gone off n im not a film person either!!
i just won one of those piano cot things for 99p cos they spelt piano wrong haha!!!
weirdly the baby monitors have just picked up somebody elses house it was weird!! i think its the woman accross the road, lucky cow was waiting for a babysitter n looking for her straighteners!! just to rub it in eh ha, i think i cud hear her baby breathing through it as well cos it was really heavy breathing n it wasnt jasmine!
buttons sounds like the kind of thing my OH does every single time he enters a pub, infact i dont think hes ever walked out of a pub sober, gets right on my nerves! i never let him in bed when he's been out all day or nite either cos he stinks and snores really bad!!
X0 -
Actually he seems to be entering the terrible toddler stage a bit, all day it's been little mini-tantrum screams whenever something changes that he doesn't like... new phase beginning
doh.
We've been getting them all weekend. I thought my ear drums would never recover from last nights tantrum! I was trying to get her to sleep without feeding her, and she knew it. Had to feed her in the end, and off she went, good as gold. Hardly any naps today, just 20 mins or so in her buggy this morning, so who knows how we will get on tonight. Could go either way.Definitely not watching X-Factor. We are watching Whisky Galore on BBC4 here, cute old Ealing comedy
We were watching this too - somehow I'd never seen it before. Now we're on Dave. Steven Fry-tastic.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
