Grr.. just realised the time - the carpet people haven't phoned me back!
How hard can it be for the biggest carpet place in the town to look up the price of a edging bar and phone me back?! I'm going all "show-home-esque" and having a huge doormat type material being put down for the first 2mtrs of the (7mtr) hallway instead of the carpet I've ordered (like this). Obviously being the awesome customer that I am, I've only just thought to mention this to the carpet people..
 Have left them with the quandry of how to do it (simple, I'd have thought!) and to come back to me with a fitting date..

Alice keeps changing her name today. It keeps switching between Monkey and Tigger so we never know what she's called. When we were in Tesco, I was worried people would hear me calling her Monkey and think I was a really horrible mother.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

That sounds adorable Susan. I think calling your child a cheeky wee monkey is cute! I doubt if anyone overheard you they thought you were being horrible, a cute little pet name!
I feel sick after stuffing my face with raw cake mix, I hate the end result, it's too dry for my liking. I like moist food!
Keira helped me, by tipping the ingredients in, I'd tell her when to stop spooning flour and sugar when we were weighing, and she liked to hold the cake mixer thingy, to smush it all up, her whole body was vibrating with it hehe.
The end result -
I think her decorating skills are fab! Looks like cakes you'd get at halloween hehe0 -

Right thats it, Buttons adorable cupcakes and Mrs T's salmon the other day are the final straw. I am teaching myself to cook.
I have a £10 amazon voucher so i'd like to buy a basic cook book. Nothing too fancy and preferably something that shows stuff to do with chicken mainly as we don't eat pork or shellfish. Any suggestions?Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
I broke the fishtank filter

That's why - so I can push the pram in and leave it there out the rain whilst we get sorted and I'm not worried about it dripping on my nice carpetMy mum's idea really
