I think kids that live in overly immaculate houses are starved of expressing themselves !! (any excuse as to why my house looks like it does !!) A house should feel lived in, mine is a pigsty, but whats the point of putting toys away when they are brought back out within 10 mins ?? And as for cleaning, if I could get to the cupboard under the stairs, I am sure there is a proper cleaning bucket in there .......

I really want to make rocky road or the chocolate brownies recipe Emlou gave us the other day, but OH pulled a "Pls don't torture me" kinda face so I have to wait for him to fall off the healthy eating wagon first.. Won't be long!

Just made fairy cakes with Keira. The mixture was a bit runnier than norm, might of added too much milk or my eggs were too big?

Wanted to make buttercream icing but only have 68g of it, and I need 175g apparently! I have a packet of choc chips in the cupboard, could I melt those and add that as a topping for half of the cakes? How do I get it "thick" though? add butter?

dont add anything to it button just let it cool again slightly after melting and it will thicken up a bit
