It's a practicality issue from what I recall SS I've had a fun youth let's say *tries to look innocent and probably failing miserably*... and trying to balance trays and trays of litre jugs of beer is a messy business Especially as the days get on and people are usually exceedingly happy/unco-ordinated/fished as parches

elle job centres suggestion was ............ go on JSA which he said no to as we've finally got off benefits in my house dont want it brought back in ....

im currently dressed up and nowhere to go my mate i was suppose to be meeting tonight just text to cancel on me and i was suppose meet her at 6 .... proper gutted after the week ive had could of really done with it ...... but what can you do if shes ill ... hohum x

I know exactly what you mean. I'm currently looking to see what to do with the four crates of books I have in front of me.. Do I bother to ebay/amazon them all, try selling them in bulk for local car booters, or just FreeCycle them? I remember how much they all cost so it pains me to just FC them but then I don't know if I can be arsed with listing them individually...

I appreciate it's possibly a pride issue SM, but without signing on he's missing out on the money (don't know how much it would be - £42something?) which is at least something more towards your debts and also the National Insurance stamp which goes towards his pension..

Ah, that's why I said I didn't know how much it'd be - I think the £42 is the contribution based one I was on years back when I'd had a job for a little while (or rather, officially been on the books for a little while! ) previously.

I suppose watching Benefit Busters might have spurred him on if he wasn't doing anything about looking for a job but as he is it just makes it worse to see all the ungrateful ones on there who don't actually want a job anyway!
