I can sleep feeding her but my health visitor and I feel it's not the best thing to do as she will just suck on me all night! I'd rather get the feeds down to something maanageable as recently it's been every hour aall night from about 7pm aand it's just not tenable long-term.
We will have to experiement maybe with letting her wake and actually cry for food so I can judge it perhaps but I still can;t sleep next to her being all noisy! Maybe soon she can go in her crib, I'm hoping that by 3 months she will go in it OK (and in the pram) without crying.
That is why we put Izzy in her own room at around 3 months (that and she was getting too big for the crib). If anything it might have been a bit earlier than that. We all sleep better for it.
I did quote someone else too, but it hasn't appeared and now I can't remember what I was going to say.
I do want to report that sock-ons are the best thing ever. Izzy is still wearing her socks and she has been into town and back and been on a swing, and tried to take them off herself too!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I discovered that M&co socks stay on skinny legs, Amber got some frilly ones as gifts and they stayed on evn when she was in the front baby carrier.

Afternoon everyone
I went out without the monster today - dirndl shopping with a friend in time for Oktoberfest, and I am pleased to report that I found what is almost the perfect dirndl. It needs a bit of alteration (it's ankle length and I want it to be on the knee), but it's hard to find exactly the right thing so I bought this one in preference to the second choice, which was plain silver.
The one I got is black silk with a black lace blouse and black silk apron. And a silver chain for the bodice ... with the breastfeeding boobs it is astonishingly sexy, anything brighter than all black would be an incitement to riot
Came home to find the monster sleeping, but my store of freezer milk down to the last bag. Apparently she can drain a bottle much easier than a boob and take twice as much. I've just expressed (after six hours since the last feeding) 4oz, which I think is about as much as she takes in one sitting, so hopefully I can manage to do this a few times in the future. I'm going to need to pump more often though just to get my supply up so we have a decent freezer stash.
Well done SM
MM are you ok there? Cup of tea and a bacon sandwich?

Arrrggggh!
I finally phoned about my boiler *whistle* anyhow, they are totally messing me around, first the council told me to phone some other place, a big buisness they obviously pay to do the work, they then told me they couldn't find my address and apparently my skyscraper or any for that matter use gas.
Oh wait, a guy has just turned up and told me my boiler is utterly f*****, temporary repair until monday is going in, the main valve has broken, the cats are in my room lol, it's not the actual council anyways it's some company so no worrys.

We plan on putting Hugh in his own room when we get back from the UK..he will be nearly four months. At the moment he often makes a lot of noise during the night, but if I try and feed him before he actually wakes up (usually he will cry at this point, but not always) he just sleeps in my arms and wriggles about. At the moment I sleep in the spare room from the time I get him to go to sleep until he wakes for his morning feed and DH shares the room with Hugh! His noise doesn't disturb DH so much...then we swap rooms (if I bother going back to bed). We gave up with him in the carrycot when he was about two months as all you could hear during the night was Hugh walloping his arms and legs against the sides as he wriggled about
. In his cot he has the space to sleep in his favourite position...arms stretched right out!

He can't stop the trickle off water, if he tightens it anymore it's liable to break, flood my house and the houses underneath me. BUM!
So he's away to get some tape to try and stop the amount of water.
Coming at monday at 8am  What a disgusting time!! Lmao, I don't go to bed till 3am!0 -
