The baby fell off the bed

    :eek::eek::eek:

After reading about Seth yesterday (that was what I forgot to say - hope he is okay em) and promising myself that I would be extra careful I asked DSS to watch Benjamin on my bed whilst I went to sort DSS clothes out...came back up and whilst I was talking to DSS Benjamin just crawled off the side

He cried...I checked DSS was okay (white as a sheet!) and sent him to get dressed before applying liberal application of booby medicine!! He seems fine now, although I am keeping a close eye on him.

Hope Kai, Fergie and baby girl are okay - it comes in 3's you know
I realised tonight how much I love you all, every time anything was mentioned about kids I was able to say 'a girl I know online does this' or something of that sort and sounded really knowledable !! (for the 1st time ever in my life :))
You lot keep me sane and really feel at home on here, and I am drunk enough to tell you all :):):)

I know what you mean :D I would be a crap mother without you lot to bounce stuff off :D

...oops, maybe I am after this morning :o

    Welcome Hedgehog and Moneyspinner :D

Did MacSmiler leave without saying goodbye??? I am pretty sure she flew today - cheeky mare :p

Morning! I'm doing myusual trick of jumping in with a question or two without having read the thread, bbut time is soo short!

I want to buy sleepsuits without feet, so Lilia has her arms and legs covered but not her feet, ans I'd rather use socks if I need to.

  • Skinty, I'm taking Caitlyn out in the sling today but I'm actually putting her in a babygro specifically for this reason... I don't want her to lose socks/shoes while we're out...

And also, can you sleep while you feed her? I tend to latch Caitlyn on and go back to sleep... If she's in the cot I leave her until she cries out before I take her in and feed her, sometimes if she's just shuffling she settles herself back off again...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I just don't like her feeet beeing squished and prefer to leave her with no socks on if I can, butt it's haard to find footless suits - twwo of Elle's links don;t work any more and the other one is so expensive!

I can sleep feeding her but my health visitor and I feel it's not the best thing to do as she will just suck on me all night! I'd rather get the feeds down to something maanageable as recently it's been every hour aall night from about 7pm aand it's just not tenable long-term.

We will have to experiement maybe with letting her wake and actually cry for food so I can judge it perhaps but I still can;t sleep next to her being all noisy! Maybe soon she can go in her crib, I'm hoping that by 3 months she will go in it OK (and in the pram) without crying.

Try romper suits, thats what footless babygros are... And tbh skinty, if I was sleeping while Caitlyn suckled me all night I wouldn't be bothered... I would rather sleep and let her feed all night than be awake constantly... They do get better at sleeping as they get older (ideally) but I think you just have to do what you can to get sleep until that happens...

Edit, sorry Sami, I googled Romper and found this site... Made me think of you lol...
