Awww my poor dad :( He's been at work since 7am this morning (officially works 9 to 5), had a hectic day, then all the yachts started to arrive for the Hull and Humber Clipper race boat day thing.. The sea is so rough, a lot of yachts couldn't get in and those which could needed serious help. My daddy being the boss, he had to stay (well the workaholic in him wouldn't let him leave!) so he's been tying up boats with his bare hands. They got so many in but they've got to wait for a lull in the tide.. He's only just got home and he's going back for the 4.30am tide to get more in. He's said he'll go back home for breakfast with Mum before doing another full day and finishing for two weeks..

Then he's coming to my house at the weekend to finish the painting.. :o

    Love my Daddy! :D

I find that toddlers think nappies are just a big handy pocket especially good for storing crayons :p

Timmy Lovers I got Chris a 'talking' Timmy today in asda but they also have them in argos as part of a buy 2 £10ish toys for £15 (I hadn't done my research and bought it in asda coz it was the last one :o)

  • MDW - I think it sounds ace...but wonder if it might be a little too old for the icklies!! Some of them won't be any 'older' than DD (IYSWIM) but I guess as long as you can get them to [STRIKE]scribble [/STRIKE] draw for a bit then sit down for a story then you are bang on target :D

    Good luck!!
Just wait til the random stuff starts appearing in the nappy and I don't mean coming from the bum I mean falling down the front of clothes and into the nappy, the worst I've had was a choc raisin I wondered what the heck a rabbit was doing pooing in El nappy. Obviously the choc had mealted so had left smears of brown then there was just the raisin (rabbit poo) at the front of the nappy. I find crumbs/peas/bread and all sorts!!!!

LOL!! At least I won't be baffled now - I love you guys :A

    I WANNA WEEZL CUBE
    Me too:beer:

*volunteers to look on etsy and just come across weezl cubes by "accident" with a little help from PM...

I've decided the monster needs some spare grannies. She only has one set of grandparents and they live 3000km away. There must be similarly geographically challenged grandparents here who'd like a little one to cuddle and she'd only benefit.

On the quest for Grandparent mugs, I've found this one for Grandad which is perfect as I got them Silver Wedding Anniversary mugs from the same range a couple of years ago. Nice to have the same type for big events, I thought. Problem is, I can't find the matching Grandma one.. Can find Nan, but not Grandma and my mum is most definitely Grandma :(

  • Mfd, I can probably do the Friday but need to check the calendar because I remember nothing... Remind me the Wednesday before LOL...

Mdw, sounds just about right to me :)

Sugar, I think there's a magazine that has an adopted grandparents thing, something like take a break or similar... I bet google would bring something similar up locallyish?...

Not much more to say tonight apart from my husband is an ar5e... Night all...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • MFD - you are indeed a wise woman.

My aim is to get some good scribbles, some paper people scribbled on and stuck together and show them in a gentle way about making friends.
