weezl charlie is mad as ever and is now saying a few words, most of them have to be prompted but he is getting there! the HV has pushed us forward and we have an appointment with a child mental health team in october! it look like the diagnosis is going to be aspergers/autism but we will need to wait and see what they say. luckily we only have to wait a few weeks as sometimes it can take months and months! the HV has also arranged for a nursery to take charlie for restbite, this will give us time away to chill and also for him to have fun without being shouted at all the time! the new HV is an angel honestly she is amazing and she is also getting me the help and support i am needing.

the gadget has come up fine i just run it under the tap to get all the bits out and left it to soak before a final rinse! she really liked it and there wasnt much banana left in it! i also bought the munchkin tub so that when she gets bigger she can use it without food falling everywhere!

Weezl: veal???!!! not exactly a cheap or even easily stretched meat surely:confused:
do you watch Virgin Cooks on bbc3? lastnights was about students, as a test of their knowledge before starting the chef asked the 2 girls taking part to make eggy bread - they didn't have a clue where to start :rotfl:

October's soon caz, that's really good, I know these things can really drag. The respite care sounds great too, my friends felt really reluctant to use theirs (3hrs a week term time, 6 hrs out of term- he's in school) but have found it gives them more energy to love him and be patient when he gets back! Hope it's like that for you guys :) His siblings get better mum and dad time too :)

Thanks for the review of the gadget- I think I will go for it :) I really appreciate you posting how it cleaned up- it's the sort of thing that'd really put me off! :o

oh sami, don't get me started on the 'economy' part of economy gastronomy! I do think it borders on unethical programme making, since TV is so powerful that lots of poor families will probably buy veal and boeuf en daube ingredients thinking, 'well it must be cheap, it was on telly'

    *wonders off muttering *

edit: will look out for virgin cooks, thanks lovely :)

Cool! :) Embarassing revelation: Sometimes friends text me in the middle of a pub quiz, cos I'm the one they think will ping back a winning answer :o

Is big booby back in action- and have the sarnies returned to normal?

Despite being something of a !!!!!! though, I can still be a bit dumb, I've still got fergie on the extra-hungry milk even tho he's been barely eating it! When I realised I tried SMA gold, but methinks he no likey :( or it must be the teeth. He'll suck for a couple of mins, bat the bottle away, look about for a bit, grab the bottle back, 2 sucks, bat it away etc...:rotfl:

Me and hubby are a crack pub-quiz team :D We have only been to 1 since Benjamin was born (we took him with us when he was TINY - about 6 weeks!!)

The original big booby is still out of action, she is currently having chemo for ovarian cancer :( She is part of the 'group of mummies' though so I have seen her a few times since she went off work ill.
We do have a lovely replacement big boobie thought (FAKE BOOBY :rotfl:)
Sandwiches today were tuna and cucumber and cheese and tomato - Benjamin likes tuna :D

The milk thing does sound like teeth

Millies Mum  Benjamin has pushed his beloved elephant aside in favour of Sleeping Bear  Oh my lord - I will need to find another...complete with pre-loved nose ;):D

You don't want to know how much it was... honest you don't! :o

It was from DFS and it's the Joelle - it's a full doublebed size which was important to us... we got the black one instead of that patter tho :) I still think it needs an extra matress thingy on top but I'm spoiled :) And it was

    over £800... shhhhh
