It should be on the outside when you punch someone...you risk breaking your thumbs otherwise
Benjamins are currently on the outside
(he is asleep with hands in fists!!!)
Weezl - you made me look really clever today at Booby Club. Was talking to a friend whose 14 month old has lost weight because she doesn't eat much and I suggested that she tried some more calorific foods such as avocado
:D:D
Edit - Mooki - I remember when I paid off my Professional Studies Loan (for my unused LPC!!) - was a fantastic feeling...but the extra money soon disappeared!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Yep, or you will hurt your thumb when you punch someone. Or is that not what you meant
We're back from my Grandad's now. Lunch was yummy. Izzy wasn't very interested in the food we took with us, but ate loads of chips. Not something worth worrying about at this stage really
Oh, and seeing as my Mum was driving, we BOTH got to have a nap in the car. Which was just what I needed seeing as we've been up since 5:30.
I hope you lot have had a great day

Cool!
Embarassing revelation: Sometimes friends text me in the middle of a pub quiz, cos I'm the one they think will ping back a winning answer
Is big booby back in action- and have the sarnies returned to normal?

Yup mine was from me and OH's LPC. That £234.00 extra a month will be going straight into the childminders pocket:(
I remember this time last year it was just before I found out I was pregnant and we were excited that there was only a year left to pay and we were thinking of all the lovely things we would do with the extra money! But my little munchkin is worth every penny!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

I want my mummy back! She's only been gone 4 hours and I want her back!

It was so nice being able to hand alex over for an hour and going for a nap, being able to have a meal without having to put it down 3 or 4 times to see to her and so on and on *sigh*
On the other hand my new sofabed arrives on friday, I get my spareroom back, and I can wakl round naked in my house if I feel like it LOLDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

MM, yep, on the outside of his fist. If they remain tucked into the fist long term then the muscle shortens (not exactly but you get my meaning) and then later on there is problems with the movement on the thumb. So, it's great they they are on the outside.
The physio may talk to you about sensory play later on (I can't think of what it's called I feel so thick right now) where you use a variety of textures on the hands, like dry pasta, shaving foam, play doh, rough towels, cotton wool etc to ensure they are getting the correct feelings from the hand. When they are kept tight it can affect the circulation which in turn affects sensory input etc. You could start some now with him, getting him to grip onto a rough towel, then a soft towel, a hard plastic toy, a squishy toy. The more you do now while he is younger the quicker he gets the benefit from it and hopefully won't need it when he is older.
I really do feel so thick right now, you have no idea how much I struggled to get the words to say all that! No nap, boys are playing wii fit and Amber had a feed. My head hurts on one side (like electric shocks) and I should go try and express some milk, make the boys dinner, tidy up, fold and put away washing....0
