Morning all....FG we had an early morning too. Rose wanted to be up and play by 6 and that was after trying to settle her for a while with a feed and her dummy. Feel like ive been on the go for ages.

    Sugar...hope you're feeling better today.

Elle... Are you wanted clothes bigger than 7.5lb or just 7.5lb clothes that are bigger than the ones you have IYSWIM?? Not sure that makes sence but we saw such a huge difference in some clothes that were supposed to be for the same weight range.

Searching...you will never figure out why some people do things. I would try to ignore it and concentrate on your little family.

Rose is always so happy when she first wakes up in the morning. She is full of giggles so we have tried her with tummy time this morning and she seemed to do better than normal. Still a long way off able to push herself up yet tho. She's now decided that was too much like hard work and is tired.

Here she is chomping on her dummy trying to go to sleep and looking so cute!!

Oh and here are my other 2. We were at BIL wedding in Italy a few weeks ago x

Bruno, I'm not sure how big LO is, but you've mentioned using a sling while out and about. That wouldn't be an option for sleeping? Probably not, if wife is a fan of CIO/CC, as they are a bit polar opposites! I hope you find a solution soon.

Thanks Feely! he fell asleep in the sling on me on Sat, so it can happen; I wouldn't say wife really is a fan of CC, but she feels like she has nothing else she is capable of doing, so that's one of the things we're discussing. (he's a year old)

Good luck getting some more sleep :)

Well our monster slept from about 9:30 till 7:30 again whoop whoop! She did wake up at about 4 but settled herself down without mummy having to get out of bed! :j :j :j I can live with that ;)
We're looking at going swimming today... would just the swim nappies be enough do you think? Or should I try to get a swimming custome for her before heading to the pool?

You do know we're all jealous of your lovely sleep dont you?

I would have thought that the swim nappy would be enough. We have used a costume but only as someone gave one to us, if not i wouldnt have bought one till you see how much she enjoys it x

    Morning:)

    Well done Benjamin:j

Well Kai was being a little *insert whatever word you feel appropriate* last night, he woke up at 2am and would not go back to sleep:mad: I tried putting his dummy in a few (lots of) times, but he was whining by the time I had even got back to my room:rolleyes:

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to tell you. Remember when ds3 was born and my older two didn't like him. Well now they absolutely love him, ds1 is brilliant with him, playing with him and doing funny things to amuse him:D

I have got my confirmed letter off UCAS now, so I can go and get my student account opened next week:p
Most of the forms are filled out, just the childcare one left to do and then it's just waiting for the LEA to assess it all and give us all our money:o I know some of it is loans, which we will have to pay back. But I feel funny getting so much money when I won't even be working!

    Mel x

    Hello again,

I'm feeling all Annabel Karmel ish, as have just made 8 petit filous sized prune yoghurts for fergus at just under 8p per portion (petit filous are 19p per portion) and these have no hidden extras :)

method: 300g onken full fat yoghurt, plus half a tin of asda prunes in juice, no added sugar, drained and pitted. Stir and mash until you get the smoothness you want!

:money::money::money:doesn't sound like much, but we went out for lunch yesterday and a friend of a friend who was there, her 15 month old has 2 a day, so over a year that's a £70 saving :) I am going to vary the flavours though!!!

Im really starting to think about weaning now ( not actually thinking about weaning her now, just how I want to go about it ) and am going to try to use it as an excuse to sort out our eating too.

I go through periods of being really OS and then seem to fall off the wagon so to speak and not eat so well till i make an effort to be OS again. I was talking to OH yesterday about our attutides to food etc and how we want Rose to see food. I just hope it all goes to plan.

I miust say Weezl I think you do an amazing job x
