  • Hi everyone :)

Didnt get a chance to come on last night at all as a really good friend of mine from school who moved to London 7 years ago came over to see her parents and sent me a text to see if I wanted to meet up for a drink !!
Was lovely to see her and another girl we went to school with too, and I got ever so slightly drunk :) We are all meeting up for lunch today aswell.
But as I was out, Chris had both kids for the bedtime madness for the first time by himself !!! He seemed to do fine though, so maybe I can get out at night more often ;)

Hope you are all well :)

Yeah I do have some of those sauces, you sure the water wouldn't turn it manky? Make grease swim to the top?

I could actually cut the meat off the thighs (as they are fresh) and just make a curry :) Do I still need to add water? LoL...

Wouldnt add water if using one of the sauces no.

Given that most schools get out at around 3pm, and many mothers with babies have older children at schools, why the hell do they make baby clinics between 2-4pm?? And usually over 30mins away walking?? Will go and see if I can get seen at my local clinic.

SM, that sounds horrible, was it a child playing too rough or something sinister?

SM, that sounds really disturbing. Was it an accident?

The doctor visit was fine, although I had to take off the monster's clothes and she really doesn't like being naked. So it was loud. She's gained 1lb 1oz from her birth weight and is 4 weeks tomorrow, so remains precisely on the 50th percentile for breastfed babies. I feel a bit better about my milk supply now :)

Home and Husband put the oven on to preheat for lunch - and then went to bed. So I've been patiently waiting, thinking he was in the kitchen, finally went in there and the oven was smoking, the stuff was still on the countertop and there was no sign of Husband. I put it in but now I have to wait all the extra time :(

Oh, and there's another new little one on the pregnancy thread - fitzilian had a little boy, Alfie Sidney.

Out of curiosity, how often do you get your babies weighed?? Both DS1 and 2 were consultant care due to prematurity so got seen at the hospital every 2 months and were bottle fed so I never bothered getting them weighed at baby clinics. Think I went to one with DS1 and got 'looks' from the 40 year old mothers (I was 20).

Off to try and get her weighed.

Had Toby weighed fortnightly while on EBM, but once he hit 8 weeks I couldn't get a home visit. They want him weighed fortnightly again as he is so big. I'll be going weekly though, as I go for a coffee afterwards.
