    Hi

Can I just go back to Weezls earlier question about transfering from the pregnancy thread. I also agree with Skint, Tia and SB re the tread moving so quickly, tho I have to say whenever I've posted a question ive always received lots of help.

I spend so much time catching up when i get 5 mins, that in general the conversation has moved on and also my 5 mins is then up and im needed again. Only for it to start again next time i get a break!

Im sure there are many more like me who read every day but dont post. I will try to join in more but you all seem quite 'close' and it sometimes feels like you're invading a personal conversation so to speak!

he'll be 6 months next week, we have tried some solids, but I'm not sure that in the small gap between finishing his milk-bit of banana-milk dinner which usually takes from 5.45-6.30 that we'd have time to fit in more solids before bed at 7!!!

Maybe this is why MFD and Mel are moving bedtime backwards :)

Yes, always sick after every feed. Is that not the norm? We do get good burps out of him :)
well could you move bed back just say 15mins to allow time for any possetting to be caught and then put in bed.
Its not unusual to bring back a bit but not all babies do :) my boys like to hang on to theirs lol

OMG what a good memory you have. She's beautiful. I stopped BF at 8 weeks as I was still feeding every hour or so. She is now 15 weeks and was 12lb the last time she was weighed, which was 2 weeks ago. I think she's almost caught up to where she would be for 3 months now ( for those of you who didnt know she was 9 weeks early)

She varies with her sleeeping but we can get 7 hours out of her most nights, unfortunately its mainly in the everning but then she only wakes once now which is a huge improvement on where she was.

She smiles and laughes now and its a joy to be with her x

She sounds like she's done incredibly well considering she was early! (I'm sure all down to you ;))

Beccles - we don't really eat that much spicy stuff, if we have an indian meal it's korma strength. I am managing to eat them alternated with cadbury's fingers!.

Just spoken to my mum and dad and they arrived home at 1.30am.

Newbies - I've kind of dipped in and out of this tread but I've always found everyone to be really friendly and helpful. I'm even being to offer advice!!

If I have the time I read back from where I last posted otherwise I'll just go back enough to catch up on the conversations. I then do a mega post in catchup.

Off to get DD her first pair of trainers today!!

    Hi everyone,
I'm still trying to catch up with you all, as have had a super busy week.
Hugs to Bruno and his OH, and huge congrats to MOTM's 16 yr old.

Krystal - will deffo meet up once the kids have gone back to school. Any other Midlanders around?
    Keely??
Mfd, it's ok, I knew what you meant about the kids going back to school... I completely agree btw... I took Aimee to the park yesterday with my aunt and her boys and all you could hear was effing and jeffing, does my head in... (I guessed wednesfield, my nana lives just off the Lichfield road... Incidentally, I'm not that far away, the willenhall side of Walsall...)

I know I'm not on here as much as everyone else (or as much as I'd like to be :D) but I'm a Midlander too. Would I be allowed to join you please? I just Googled Walsall and Google reckons it's about 1hr 20mins from me. I'm East Mids, rather than West Mids.

The laptop battery is about to die and I need to get dressed. OH is going out tonight, so will hopefully get chance to catch up properly then (although my sis is making noises about perhaps coming round, so maybe not).

    Hopefully catch you all later,
    xxxx

seth always brings up after a feed and he's never choked at bedtime. well, as far as i know. he's alive anyway

on a serious level, when i was in hospital the night he was born he was bringing up lots of fluid, i asked the nurse if i should be laying him on his side or keeping him upright a bit more til it stopped and she told me if its liquid he cant choke on it so not to worry :)

first night (since the original BAD night weeks ago) with the side up on the cot went reasonably well! we cheated a bit and only put half the bars up so we could still lay a head next to him if needed, but when i went up to bed his head was almost hanging off the side, the definition of a heart attack _pale_:eek: please dont report us to social services :o he was fast asleep so we shuffled him back over and filled the gap at the top of the cot with pillows so he couldnt get up that far! all the bars are going up today, he can like it or lump it but he is sleeping in there and thats that. only problem is he now keeps rolling and banging his head on the bars and waking himself up
