I think that on the preggy thread you have loads of time to keep up, but over here you have a new baby so limited time and it seems that unless you post loads you can be forgotten about and missed, so end up randomly posting and nobody answers. Or people do answer but you don't get back on till later and there is 10+ pages to go back through which you don't have time for so you just give up.

    Loads to read again!

Our neighbours have been a PITA over parking. At one point their claimed their son and her father had more rights to park obstructing our drive as he's old and the son has asthma so they need to be near the house. I was pregnant with SPD and they expected me to park in the visitors bays at the top of the street rather than on my own drive

Had the whole lot block paved and clearly defined the boundarys with plants in big plant pots to stop them, and even then they claimed we stole their land, even though the bit we stole is directly in front of our garage

Wasn't going to work today, but got called by an agency and someone had let them down so I had three calls to do. I had all the children with me and it was really busy so it was a bit stressful! Managed to get the boys kitted out with uniform and school shoes though, so they are all ready to go back to school now. Joshua goes back next Thursday, but James doesn't go until the following Monday.
Here I go again on my own....

It moves too quick on here and I don;t feel I know many people and I also feel stupid cos I am so clueless as a mum so I'm embarrassed to post on here even if I do grab a second to come on!

    'ello all :)

A little while ago a few people were saying this thread is a little intimidating to the pg thread members. Does anyone know why? I'd really like to know if there's anything friendlier we can do.

For me, I found it easier to join here, because sami was here and she'd already been so nice and welcoming on the pg thread;):D

It's very good that glam and jillie want to join us tho :j:j

AngelFairy I was thinking about you earlier. I was struck by the homesickness you've been feeling. Sorry to hear that :( I wondered if you had any sense of what it is about the type of friendships that you had back home (not sure where that was, sorry :o) that you're finding it hard to find here. IYSWIM?
    Aww shucks :o:)

Angel is from the land down under ;)

Are things any better with Lilia's sleeping?
I was getting worried about you and check yesterday to find she'd kindly pooped on your carpet :p

Yes she seems to be settling down much more. Not sure if it's her age, her increased weight (7lbs 6oz at last weigh) or just luck but we're getting more settled nights around feeds, and the feeds are spacing out a bit now too, to around 2hourly.

And yes, she pooed on the carpet (and Nanna!) in spectacular fashion :p
