Without reading back, I hope we've all had a good day .

The twins are nine today (it's past midnight, so it's now Thursday) :j so a day of fun awaits.

16yo gets her GCSE results too, but she is happy to wait for her celebration until Saturday :j although she knows I will tell her how proud of her once she tells us her results. We are positive, she thinks she's done really well and so do I as she is very intelligent. We are hoping for top marks (A*) in all but 3 subjects, where she will accept normal A's, B's and C's.

Hope everyone is doing well and has a nice Thursday :)

aww is that the grey one in your avvy? money well spent there though, the pound is horrible, i went to the rspca thinking i might get a friend for scruffy to keep him a bit more entertained but they wanted them all housed in pairs so i didnt get one, i couldnt have three!! it was horrible, i just wanted to bring them all home. poor things all look so cooped up and they all miaow at you so hard as you walk past or look at them, it made me cry and i had to leave! my other cat lives at my nans still cos she was settled and i didnt want to move her, she came from there and she was cooped up in a cage on the floor that was smaller than a average coffee table but nobody wanted her cos she was feisty and a older cat. she mellowed after a few years though bless her, shes a right snuggle monster now. its a shame cos shes now really elderly for a cat :(

My MIL paid £150 for a pedigree cat with a kink in its tail and FIL paid £300 for his cousin  they're good looking though!

Yep the grey one, she's a softy, she lets the kitten push her around, he pushes her out of the way to get to the food first etc, and she just sits there and takes it, until he bites her bum, then she goes crazy and takes fur out of him. I was straightening my hair today and saw blobs of white fluff all around me, so I know what he did last night! It's funny cause sometimes she pins him and down and forces him to stay there until she finishes grooming his head or whatever body part! He never wants to reciprocate the love unless he's lonely, will just try and bat her one, the meanie. Think he will mellow ones the dingleberrys are gone!

Sami - those cats are gorgeous, they maine coons? Or Norweigian forest ones? Did they sell that one for £150 because of the kink?

speaking of kinky tails, the woman that gave birth to me paid £300 back in the 80's for the highest pedigree of burmese cos she wanted to show him, and half an hour after he got in the house he ran through a door as my dad was closing it and his tail got shut in it and got a kink so her money was wasted :rotfl:

Maine coons, yeah Cato was 1/2 price because he's got a fault he can't be shown.
The breeder said they would have kept him if it wasn't for his tail because he's pretty much perfect in terms of the breed standard.
