Oooh - lots to catch up on!
Charlotte loves nursery rhymes too. I normally have local radio on which plays pop music and she likes some of the songs that come on there. She's really into some Turkish belly dancing music that they played on holiday. The losers in the team games had to do belly dances round the pool and she used to join in :rotfl:
Joshua went through a Fat Boy Slim and Prodigy phase when he was about 2½ - wierd combination but it kept him happy.Here I go again on my own....0 -

I feel all shuddery as I forced it down as not to waste food, it's a good job OH likes it, otherwise I'd have to eat it for lunch. I'm trying not to waste food.....
What else did you sub? I made a Tine version too but it was actually quite niceI used back bacon (moer than twice the amount they said to) and no artichoke hearts in sight (yuck!) just used 500gr of macaroni instead
I always have nutmeg about as I make the bejamel sauce for my own lasagna
And a decent strong cheddar for the sauce... I thought it was pretty good considering

If you're happy to keep going, just let Toby decide when to stop
Or are you still considering the stronger meds?
Don't think I'll take the meds, I think BF'ing is more important to me. Hard to explain, but I'd feel worse if I stopped, because it is one of the only things I've really done right. My Mum says she feels guilty for being so pro-breastfeeding, because it meant that I was never going to be able to give up. I just think I'll find it hard when he does decide to stop. Must stop thinking about the future and just enjoy the now.
18 days till my Bro's wedding :eek:
Baby question, Toby really cries when he sees someone new. Only lasts thirty seconds, and then he is fine and likes looking at them and having a cuddle, but the first time anyone looks at him he screams. Anything I can do to stop this? I don't like him crying, but it'd do more harm to avoid people wouldn't it?
No microwave here. Man came round to test it (landlord safety thing) and he said it was fine, but ever since he poked it, when used it shoots sparks out!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
OK working on my understanding of biology etc then the bottles remain sterile so long as they are over a certain temperature - as soon as they cool they cease to be sterile. The unsterileness of them then gradually increases with time and depending on atmospheric influences - ie if you keep them in a kitchen or bathroom they would be icky pretty quick. If you sealed them with the teat inside using a proper top thingy they should last quite a while so long as you close them whilst they are still hot (think same principle as jam jars
you have to put the jam in HOT and close the jars whilst hot otherwise you get mould
)

Hello, I forgot to comment earlier on the stage1/stage2 milk debate...
I think it's cos aptamil has 3 stages confusingly! We swapped to their stage 2 (extra hungry baby) and that makes fergie more comfortable and fuller for longer. It has the same calories as stage 1 so no fears of childhood obesity, but a different balance of the 2 milk proteins: whey and cassein.
I think aptamil's stage 3 is the 6 months plus one that a few wise people earlier were saying can cause a few problems.
