her favourite songs are the ones where I do silly dancing along to the music, or when I sing Old Macdonald or Pop goes the Weazl at top volume.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I was wondering what happened to the quote button then I realised there was a new thread (which would also explain why there were only two pages since I'd last been on.)
Basically if you can carry them in your arms (by that point in enormous pain in your arms becuase they're chuffing heavy!) you can carry them in the sling. I know some slings are tested up to 150lbs but generally until they're big enough to walk themselves (slings can be good for the up and down toddler as they're more compact than a pram :-)
 That's more than I weigh.
I don't like jabs :( Toby cried, and is now totally zonked out. No more till 1 year, yay! Also got a well done from the Nurse for exclusive breastfeeding. I reached my goal!
Congratulations for reaching your goal. I was never asked about the breastfeeding at any of Alice's vaccinations so I just filled it in myself afterwards.

Hello, just popped on as I haven't been on in a while. I haven't been online in general recently, as I don't feel like I fit it anywhere anymore. If it wasn't for Elliot, I'd have nothing to talk about. Generally feeling quite down, and alone. Being a mom isn't all fun and games for me sadly.
:grouphug: I was just wondering what had happened to you the other week.

(There's a few people who've disappeared, offhand I can think of Snaggles, cha97michelle, purple patch, agutka.)
Question, when do babies grow out of crying when other babies cry? I had to wait in a different room at the Doctors as another baby kept setting Toby off, and then he set her off!
Alice was always fascinated by other children/babies crying. When she was little I used to take her into the side room at church to feed and if it was the prayers when she finished I'd have her sit on my knee while we waited for them to finish before we went back in. Sometimes other people would come in with crying/naughty children/babies and I always used to feel really bad as it looked like Alice was being beautifully behaved in comparison and I was worried it made people feel bad but it was just because she was fascinated by the crying children.
Can I ask the BLWers what they gave baby for breakfast? I am fine with other meals and Benjamin does like toast but it's not quite the same as porridge and yoghurt or mashed banana
Before she actually ate stuff we used to just give her a spoon which had been dipped in our porridge. Once she was actually eating we gave her her own but always made sure it was thick enough until she started using a spoon. (Except weekends when we do/did egg on toast on Saturday and pancakes with butter and honey (but no honey before 12 months) on Sunday.)

I just made the economy gastronomy macaroni and cheese recipe. I don't like it. I did amend a few of the ingrediants, used smoked bacon, didn't have nutmeg.

I feel all shuddery as I forced it down as not to waste food, it's a good job OH likes it, otherwise I'd have to eat it for lunch. I'm trying not to waste food.....
