  • the only FG I can think of is feelie, but that is self explanatory.

On music, Izzy loves nursery rhymes and all the made up songs she hears all day long. She also loves folk music. Sometimes I can get away with Radio 2 or whatever CDS I want to listen to (I didn't realise how much swearing goes on in my music collection though, I may have to work out which cds I need to skip when she is in the car with me!), but sometimes I have to put it over to classic fm, or turn it off and sing wheels on the bus, which currently acts as a lullabye. When she doesn't go to sleep quick enough I have to make up extra verses or start over again. If I get really desparate we end up with cows and sheep and lions and tigers on the bus!!

i forgot to say - i added someone on facebook today - initals FG - but i cant put the name toa nickname on here!!!!! who are you!!??? xx

That'll be me! I apologise for the weird name, but after some of the stuff I say on here, I don't want real life and MSE linking!

Bottles - I was told they keep sterile for 24 hours. I lugged the cold water steriliser up and down the motorway many times. Milton tablets are for 5 litres, and you can pick up a tub from a supermarket for about £1.50. Make sure it is one with a lid, and don't travel with it full of water! No need to buy a proper cold water steriliser, cheapy tub is fine.

Music - Toby listens to Country music. Bit worried though, I read a report in the Times years ago that suggests that babies who are raised on Country have higher rates of depression and addiction. Perhaps I should listen to something a bit happier  We are a family of Country Music lovers, last year Me, Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister-in-Law, Auntie, Gran and Grandad all went to a Kris Kristofferson concert!

Emlou - how exciting, I'm sure you'll have loads of Mummy friends soon.

    Yay for backwards moving babies!!

My Mum phoned today, all a bit emotional! Bro is having a memory board at his wedding, so she was looking through photo albums, and getting a bit sad at how quick babies grow up! Must remember to take in every minute of this. I was about 13 months when she stopped feeding me, and she said she still remembers how sad she felt when I got off the sofa from my last feed. How am I ever going to give up BF'ing? :o

If you're happy to keep going, just let Toby decide when to stop :) Or are you still considering the stronger meds? :o

ooh i forgot to say - when i was at the baby clinic i was brave and i spoke to the other mums :o they do a buggy fit/power walking thing every week and i'm going to go with them next week  i'd not been to this place before and apparantly its a sure start place with lots of groups and things so i might have convinced myself to go and lurk a little bit :o i still dont have any mummy friends!!
round here the HVs pretty much force you to join SS and then I asked the receptionist what was good and before I knew it she'd signed me up to about 5 things :rotfl: I loved it but it's harder to find things for a baby AND toddler everything is either or but I won't put Chris in the creshe
I just made the economy gastronomy macaroni and cheese recipe. I don't like it. I did amend a few of the ingrediants, used smoked bacon, didn't have nutmeg.

I feel all shuddery as I forced it down as not to waste food, it's a good job OH likes it, otherwise I'd have to eat it for lunch. I'm trying not to waste food.....

aww bless you, what was it do you think? maybe a different cheese would help?
