I'm just back from asda and must have looked like one of those mums we all talk and laugh and despair at !!!
My trolly consisted totally of snack food for camping, so crisps, some sweets, jellys, bottles of juice, a malt loaf and crisps :) Then we added in a few other bits that were needed and 2 boxes of formula !! That was it :) I got a few strange looks at the till :)

Oh and sami, I was going to stay off everything for a while and let OH just wear raincoats, but he said that if we were to have another accident it wouldnt be the end of the world after I said I didnt want any more, so now I dont trust him !!

I love how the man says it wouldn't be the end of the world, esp in your case, Its you that earns the money and would prob need to go through another c/s.
then the opposite is my OH who acts like it would be he end of the world, I do pretty much everything for the kids, the only things that change is a lack of jiggy and housework while babe is tiny :p

Weezl - if you're about how did the pesto making go?

I've just stoned a load of cherries, gonna make crumble but I'm not sure if I just shove the raw cherries in the dish and plonk topping on or if I need to add sugar or anything or cook cherries a bit first...

The way I look at it is that I was Very sick after Jas was born due to the blood loss and infections, and this time Dylan was very sick after he was born due to fluid (oh that reminds me .. hold on I'll finish this first ) so I cant get it out of my head that a 3rd might be even worse for one or both of us !!

Right, I got told by my HV that she knows one of Dylans nurses in neonatal and was talking to her about him as his peadiatritian appt is in just over a week and I was worried. Apparently the night he was born and rushed up there, we all knew he was sick, but apparently he nearly stopped breathing 4 times on the way up in the ambulance !!!!!!!
Now I was asked if I wanted to know everything that happened at the time, and I said no, but Chris found out, I didnt think I could cope what with being in another hospital and all, but I would have thought they would have told me that much !!!
Makes me even more glad he is here now though :)

I totally get it MM, I think I'd be scared to have another after something being hard/going wrong etc. I am in awe of women that do.
My pregnancy and birth were both harder this time, still smooth sailing but not as easy as with Chris, which makes me all confuzzled, If we had another would it be harder again? even more so if we wait 5yrs? who knows but only time will tell :D

Well done to celia and elija - we have been watching our LO trying her hardest to crawl and getting very excited about it. I can't wait until she can walk :p

Yay for your weekend away, where you off to?

Sorry bout the chest infection- so draining, hope you feel better soon :)

Pesto was lovely thanks :) I was a little creative with some of the ingredients(!) and used peanuts in lieu of pine nuts and mature cheddar in lieu of parmesan, but DH and DB wolfed down mammoth helpings, so all was well :o:D

Sami, valentine warner, on what to cook now didn't precook his cherries, I think his pie baked for 25-35 mins...

    HTH

I don't think I realised your PG and birth were harder with ed :( sorry about that.... are you less of a fan of HB than me and searching then?;)

hello to all else, not been on much this weekend as have had lots of visitors, which has been lovely, and after quite good sleep we're feeling the effects of a little relapse. But mustn't grumble, because he's still been relatively good :D

OH asked me the other day (whilst we were watching Supernanny!) if and when we would/could have more babies. Considering early pregnancy wiped me out completely with tiredness and nausea, then I had actual daily morning sickness later on, then all that time was walking round with a condition which could have killed us both at any time and then with what happened to Rhys and everything we've been through in the last three months, I told him.. not for a good few years yet! ;):p

Have also got to consider another c-section or VBAC - a toss up between the devil I know or the chance of ripping myself in two (oh, I do like a bit of drama!) - ideally I would have c-section but then it's with spinal block and risk paralysis or with GA and risk not waking up again..

Can you tell another pregnancy is going to take a bit of thought for me?! :( Shame, we were thinking two or three kids..
