Not watching it, feelie :) Fab news about the driving lessons! :D Took me four times to pass my test and I've been in some scrapes since  but it was all worth it!

I uploaded the video of Rhys rolling as requested. Did you see it? :)

Oh yes I did, fantastic!! I watched it on lappy so no sound, did OH manage to edit out the cheering? He is such an amazing thing isn't he.

What does it feel like, having him? I thought I wasn't able to have a baby and I often stare in wonder at Toby.

MOTM - You probably won't read this before you speak to them but you won't get tax credits for your eldest. It is only applicable for children up to 16yrs or up to 18yrs if they continue in Full-Time education. Sorry I forgot to say that last night..... But definitely get on the phone to them:)

When doing the online form last night, it asked if 'the child' was in full time education and I ticked no. I'll do the form again without her and see if it makes any difference. Hopefully, I ticked no, the difference should not be that great.

It could also be worth seeing if you can get it backdated further on the basis that you were misadvised. I have a friend who had her JSA application cancelled because she hadn't provided all the evidence in time but this was because she was told she needed certain things which she didn't actually need (which is what had caused the delay) so in the end she was able to get it backdated to when she had originally applied. Don't know if it would work with tax credits but would think it's worth a try since you were misadvised. I helped my friend sort it out and went to the jobcentre with her and the adviser we spoke to said it was very important to use the word "misadvised".

I said I was misadvised this morning and the lady on the phone asked if I had any written evidence. I said I have a letter from my Job Advisor a few years ago when I was unemployed and she said to send a copy of it with the form when I get it. She couldn't commit to any back dating and I don't expect any. I've found the letter and shall enclose a photocopy.

Urgh just had a text from a friend telling me her and her ex are getting back together! I love this girl dearly been mates since high school, she got hurt badly by him and he basically threw her and there son out! She seems so happy and I want to be happy for her too, but I don't want to see her get hurt again:confused:

I like the rule, never go back. Sometimes people need a break, sometimes people fall out, but if the split has been for a decent period, espeically if one or both have had other partners since, I always believe that this part of your life should be tied to the history books. I hope he doesn't do the same again this time.

Nope, I think everyone's just been polite enough not to embarrass me about my manic cheering (which sounds nothing at all like me!) :o

It feels like the bad stuff didn't happen to him. Like it did happen, but not to the baby in front of me when he's wriggling about on the living room floor, iyswim  Maybe if he had some signs that there had been consequences that we could see now, we would be able to link the two, but for now it seems like two different babies. Just feels like this is how it was meant to be :D

I'm boycotting them because of carseat incompetence.

How anxious are people about babies toddling with things in their mouths? All Elijah wants to do now is to is to take practice walks from one piece of furniture to the next, while biting/sucking/chewing on all kinds of things where I have horrible visions of him falling and impaling the back of his mouth.
We've always had a rule of no eating or drinking unless sitting down for that reason. Don't think Alice ever carried toys in her mouth so that wasn't an issue.

I just said to Alice, "Are you ready?"
    She replied, "Steady, go!"

she talks about herself in the third person, its weird! "people think they know lady gaga but they dont" !!!!!!? but i do have a good bop along when she comes on the radio in the car :D
another gaga thing - i was watching something a while ago, dunno what, but there was a kid saying "poker face is my favourite song i really like the lyrics its just like real life" one of the lyrics is something like "baby if it isnt rough love it isnt fun":eek: the kid couldnt have been as old as 10!!!

She says 'I wanna take a ride on your disco stick' is brilliant lyrics. My 10yo who worked out what it meant, said her lyrics are rubbish :rotfl: She also thinks she speaks for the people of New York. She often says she does. God help New York

Lady gaga pretended to have a willy :naughty: what a gimp! (good songs though!)

I hate how everyone tries to be unusual - yawn! your just the same as all the other 'weirdos' :p

While I brought up the willy thing, have you all heard about the south african 'female' runner who is having a gender test to proove she's a lady because someone claimed she is really a man

Lady Gaga is very manly though. Her legs are very man like inparticular.

I heard about the runner. Not been handled at all well. I hope it comes out as she is a woman, then sues them :rotfl:
re lady gaga, I read an interview where she described anyone over 26 (I think) as old. So I can't possibly like her agter that ;)

She just tries to shock. She's pretty desperate and will say anything. People will soon get bored.

I'm in despair of my daughter... We got discharged from the paediatrician in July because she hadn't had a water infection since April and was being really good at not holding too long and now all I've had this holiday is wet pants and to top it off tonight we've just been to a party at a friends and she's pooped in her brand new high school musical pants that nanny bought her for being a good girl and not wetting herself... Oh the irony... The only thing I can think to do is frog march her to the toilet every hour or something, but I already get so many tantrums over everything I just don't want another battle...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MOTM, did you ring? I can't believe you haven't been claiming them all this time!

    Indeed I did :)

Well, it seems positive that I have a claim for the girls. 3 months backdate would be nice too and the lady said it would be backdated from today should the claim be successful as today is when I first phoned :)

I went to entitledto.co.uk and it says the weekly child benefit is £208  which is 10k per year. I'm sure they are wrong as official site said £6500 or £6800 can't remember now, will check last nights posts as to what it said.

ETA - Last nights total was £6856.35. I'm going to double check without 16yo, although I did tell them last night she was not in full time education.

The lady on the phone this morning gave me no totals.

Well Alexandra is tucked up in her "big kid" bed in her own room and it's before 9pm!
we were wondering if she's waking herself up moving round in the basket as she'll settle down in our bed fine so maybe her cotbed will have the same effect :) fingers crossed! I could do with a full night! Last night was 3:30am wake up again and then wouldn't settle back down grrrr
I've given her a bottle of extra hungry readymade milk too to see if that might help... I'm ever hopeful!
There were loads of posts I meant to comment on but can't for the life of me remember what they were!
    Hmmmmm..............
Oh oh oh oh my neighbours are horrid! I'm trying to loose weight so what do they show me? A book called 1 mix, 50 muffins - so one basic recipe and then you just add extras to make 50 different kids of muffins! I hate them! I now need to buy said book! :)
Apparently on offer in WHSmith but as I never get in there I might have to go on Amazon :)

Ohhh it's less than £4 at amazon... I might just... ;)
