What's the criteria Feely? Is there any BfN groups in your area? They're often doing helper training, there's not really a criteria to do that :)

Have to have BF for 9 months at the time of application, and exclusively for the first about the first 6 months. Also got to get involved with LLL. I think that is going to be my new goal - its a safe sort of enviroment. The groups are a few miles away, but I'll figure something out.

One thing I was thinking, thought I get your opinions. I started learning to drive last year, but gave up when the morning sickness got so bad, and I could no longer fit behind the wheel! I've SORN'ed my car, got no insurance and MOT. I was thinking of selling/scrapping that car, and getting a automatic instead. I don't particulalry like driving, but I really need to get out more and it would make life a lot easier. I'm quite 'safe' in a car, so think I could drive to the shops, or to a friends house, or to a boobie club much easier than walking. Is it a bit of a cop out, to only drive an automatic? Our main car is a manual, but it is OH first new car, and absolutely ridiculously expensive, and the only top-of-the-range car he is ever going to own, so I don't think I'd ever even want to drive it!

I don't think that's a cop out, I have a feeling that's what I'm going to end up doing... I'm crap at driving... Well I was 12 years ago when I tried to learn... Found some passport photo's yesterday so I thought I might apply for my provisional and have another go... Although no idea what I'll do with the baby while I'm on a lesson!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Yes, thats my problem - somehow I don't think I'd be able to concetrate with a baby in the back! I'm hoping OH will be able to watch him for an hour in the morning, once a week. Thats a point, I've no idea what hours he is working, I hope it is flexitime :o

    More info about LLL here:
    http://www.llli.org/LAD/TaLLL/TaLLL.html

I'm usually okay, anxiety wise, when it is something I enjoy, am passionate about, and knowledgeable about.

I was secretary for two of my local AA meetings for a year - I did all the speaking, organising and bringing biscuits. If I can handle that, I can do something like helping the LLL, so I'll aim towards it! Good to have a goal.

I'm going to go and make some bacon and red lentil soup I think... hubby is off to the gym to have his induction and a hair cut on the way there as apparently it needs doing  I think it looks fine but hohum... :)
Alexandra woke up at 3:30 again last night and refused to go back down even after feeding etc so ended up in our bed again - daddy got up with her at 7:30 and I had a lie in till 9:15 when the postie rang the doorbell and woke me up... the "milkies" has finally arrived... not hugely impressed with it... it's huge and when you have knockers MY size and they're full of milk then fitting it in your bra is quite a feat... Posh packaging (typical american) but not keen on it I have to say... huhom...

although I have a full license we have an automatic now and I'm soo not going back to manual, I love it (probably because I'm soo lazy :p) but if you were OK with driving a manual, why not get the full licence but then you can just drive an auto if you prefer it then you have the option.
Just have your lessons in the evening/saturday most driving instructors work saturdays :D
