Hehe, there is a pregnancy ebay club, a baby weight loss club - there should also be a baby learning to drive club!
I'm off to suggest it to OH. He might be a bit annoyed, means he has to help me get rid of my current car, and buy me a new one.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

we had an early night (not that kind!) last night so I decided to see what would happen if I didn't wake him at 12 for a feed, answer was he slept even longer than usual
I know it could be a one off because night before last I didn't have to wake him at 12 because he woke at 11:30ish wanting milk
but I feel grrrrrreat today for the extra sleep

I think that is going to be my new goal - its a safe sort of enviroment. The groups are a few miles away, but I'll figure something out.
One thing I was thinking, thought I get your opinions. I started learning to drive last year, but gave up when the morning sickness got so bad, and I could no longer fit behind the wheel! I've SORN'ed my car, got no insurance and MOT. I was thinking of selling/scrapping that car, and getting a automatic instead. I don't particulalry like driving, but I really need to get out more and it would make life a lot easier. I'm quite 'safe' in a car, so think I could drive to the shops, or to a friends house, or to a boobie club much easier than walking. Is it a bit of a cop out, to only drive an automatic? Our main car is a manual, but it is OH first new car, and absolutely ridiculously expensive, and the only top-of-the-range car he is ever going to own, so I don't think I'd ever even want to drive it!
I've been driving for 7 years and learnt in a manual, i like it cos I have the option lol
My mum learned in an auto cos she was old when she passed, i think the only drawback for her is that she cant borrow/drive mine or anyone elses car if needed.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Although I'm annoyed with the tax credit people... When we got married, I rang them the Friday before to tell them but they wouldn't let me tell them until the change occured... So we got married on the Saturday, went on Honeymoon for a week and I called them the Monday we got back... Turns out that they made 2 payments between the wedding and me telling them... Then when they did the calculations for the joint claim, they backdated it to the wedding date and gave us another payment covering those dates... So now I have to pay back £124.05 from nearly a year ago! flaming eejits! Oh well, the girl on the phone said I can arrange to spread the payments if it will make us poor... They can have £2 a week
They messed my claim up when I married. I told them three weeks after the wedding as we married and went straight on honeymoon. Somehow they forgot to cancel my single persons claim, and set up the joint claim, so I was getting two lots of payments for a while until they sorted it out. Luckily I realised and put the extra to one side.
They wouldn't take it back straight away and it was about 18 months later when they finally asked for it back. It had been sitting in a high interest account so I made a few quid out of their mistake :money:Here I go again on my own....0 -
