That will be a handy Xmas presentIf it arrives in time. How long do claims take?
I don't know if you can do the whole thing online - there is definitely some kind of 'submit' option at the end of that form. Even if the backdating takes a while, you'll also be being entitled to the ongoing payments starting from date of submission I guess... so that's more than £130 a week from tomorrow, hopefully- if they take a while to pay, it'll just be all the larger! Then once it's set up you should get it monthly.

Oh elle, he is gorgeous. That must be a really tasty hand he has. I didn't realise how small he was until (I think) your OH stroked him.
Is he the right size for what he would be if he had been born at the right time IYGWIM? Lovely though, makes me broody. Also love your cowprint mat, it rocks.0 -

I didn't know. Be much easier than listening to their trollop on the phone.
Probably about 6weeks max for backdated claims, I'd hazard a guess at.
Moons house, heh yeah, do you want a cat to add to your brood, I'll give you the male one to try and balance out the XY chromosones in your house
I think that may have just been the working out the entitlement online.
6 weeks....was envisaging 6 months
:rotfl: When do I tell you we already have cats? :rotfl: Well now obviously :rotfl:0 -

I think I'll have to take a pic of him next to a lemonade bottle or something so we've got something everyone knows the size of to compare him against
He's 6lb 1.5oz now. Might have been a bit bigger fullterm but both OH and I were 6lb-something at birth so we didn't think he was ever going to be massive (thankfully for me!)
Btw, it's giraffe print, darling(George @ Asda

:o:o:o
Just logged on to net to check my CTC entitlements when bean arrives and you guys are talking about it!
Just wondered how soon after baby was born you can apply and how do u apply?
Also, as OH isn't working at the mo and won't be paid after October - if he hasn't found another job do they still assess it based on his income from last year or do they take into account situation now?
ThanksA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Damn....guess I'm stuck with the sod then. I'm not speaking to him since he left hair on my tuna salad....you would think I didn't feed him, he just ate leftover chips off OH's plate (yes he is incapable of putting things away:mad:)
How many cats do you have? I have 2, the older one is a bit simple in the head, I'm sure of it.0
