Krystal I'm sure I've got the same wallpaper as you! What colour are the flowers?

Me too - in the bedroom! (We're so common! :rotfl:)

BM my once lovely boobies are like to deflated airbags ... and the move like jelly ... miss my big boobies :( x
Spaniels ears, socks with golfballs in etc, etc :- i've just got out of the bath and told OH I want a boob job for my birthday. He just looks at me like i'm crazy :o.
No, I don't get them. I've never applied. Never been advised too. You think I may get them? I work 16-30 hours per week from home, but I own my own home outright, which I think disqualifies me? If I'm totally wrong, then I should really start claiming.!

OMG! Yes! You need to work 16 hrs a week. Have you seen entitledto.co.uk?

    gate-crasher here again! :o:o:o:o

Just logged on to net to check my CTC entitlements when bean arrives and you guys are talking about it!

Just wondered how soon after baby was born you can apply and how do u apply?

Also, as OH isn't working at the mo and won't be paid after October - if he hasn't found another job do they still assess it based on his income from last year or do they take into account situation now?

    Thanks

I think they will take into account the fact he isn't working, when that time comes, because you'd need to update them when it actually happens  I know they assess you on last years income but if someone looses their job, I think it starts afresh, or they base it on the fact you have 0 income or whatever it is!

Well I hope that's how it works....!

You can put the claim in as soon as baby arrives, my mum did the forms for me as I didn't have a clue, pretty sure she posted them the day I gave birth, clearly wanting her rent money ASAP

I don't know if you can do the whole thing online - there is definitely some kind of 'submit' option at the end of that form. Even if the backdating takes a while, you'll also be being entitled to the ongoing payments starting from date of submission I guess... so that's more than £130 a week from tomorrow, hopefully ;) - if they take a while to pay, it'll just be all the larger! Then once it's set up you should get it monthly.

Well, I shall phone them and hope to get someone capable :D Any money is good money and £130 a week will certainly help, even if I decide to save it for the girls.

I just sent mine off. You can phone and request a claim pack as soon as you want to so that it is at home ready to go as soon as you have baby registered for CB
They assess your claim on last years P60s, but as soon as they receive your claim, you canphone them to make an amendment if you know this years is going to be different. Also when calculating your own, they do not take into account the first £28 or £38 ?? per week of materninty pay / allowance, just everything else ontop of it !!

Turns out can't apply online, sorry MotM/Glam - you have to get the claim pack and fill it in. MotM think you'll have to call and ask to be sent the form tomorrow.

Tax Credits.......0800 300 3900 They are open 8am-8pm 7 days a week best bet is to phone, it is much quicker and easier and they will ask you any details they need there and then plus you can ask them any questions you may have:) I have always found them to be really helpful.... Don't put it off another day!!!!

Damn....guess I'm stuck with the sod then. I'm not speaking to him since he left hair on my tuna salad....you would think I didn't feed him, he just ate leftover chips off OH's plate (yes he is incapable of putting things away:mad:)

How many cats do you have? I have 2, the older one is a bit simple in the head, I'm sure of it.
    :rotfl: Poor chap.

We have as nearly many cats as minors :o 6 :o But 2 of these are boys, so i'm not fully alone :rotfl:
