Gosh you are all sounding so productive with your cleaning today. I am not really doing anything at all. Could do with applying for some jobs or trying to find some voluntary work but don't want to commit to voluntary work and then have to leave when I get a job- could do with afew hours helping out in an office - photcopying/envelope stuffing - that sort of thing really.
    Hmmmm.

Glad to hear you son is calm about the whole thing Spud - might take a while to settle in but then it is a transition for all of them isn't it. Has he been to look around or anything - so he can see where his classroom is etc?
    df

No he hasnt unfortunately - he had chicken pox the week of their taster day so couldnt go, but his closest friend from primary is in his class and aparently their form teacher is nice.

My DD is already there, and her and her friends cant wait to look after him ;):D

I am stuck in a situation that I have created Spud. I know I do far too much for everyone in this house but something has to change especially when I get back to work in Sept.

I am trying to make small changes like putting their clothes on their beds for them to put away themselves but I cook every meal and wash up every dish, do all the laundry and organise pretty much everything.

I know that its me that needs to change.......ashamed of myself:o

Time for change I think Lou, maybe a gradual introduction of chores and things? Linked to pocket money maybe?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I agree, its just difficult for me I mean to implement it without being made to feel like the wicked witch of the west:o

Just think about all the thanks you'll get from future daughter in laws! (As long as you don't get them shouted at over the tannoys at the supermarket!)
