And me! You're lucky they found it and contacted you.

I bet the brochure had small print about the admin fee, I know when I've done courses they've had the admin fee separate, the £47 is probably what was advertised then there's the sneaky £30 on top. But they never mention it clearly until it comes to time to pay!

I'm sure he'll be fine, but I guess its only natural to worry ehh :o

He has the most supportive, kind friends I've ever known. They got him onto the football team, even though he's clearly not the most athletic of boys and they always tell him he's done great. He got the biggest, loudest cheer when he got an award at primary school - so different from other children that people would comment on how popular he was

Spud I don't have kids so don't know about this sort of thing but his friends sound lovely so hopefully they can all help each other adjust. Hope they get o.k -such excitement (and a few nerves I guess).

In all the upset of this morning I forgot to say, I was asked for ID last night in Asda to buy one bottle of beer. Luckily I had my driving license on me, I don't usually think to carry any, since I'm 28 and don't look any younger! It cheered me up anyway, and the girl looked a bit shamefaced when she saw my birth date. I'm guessing she was new and a bit paranoid about letting anyone through.

  • Spud, I haven't lost a single pound! (that I haven't gained straight back!!) You are not a failure unless you stop trying to change things.

and if your Lovely daughter is anything to go by then I bet your son is just as fab. Comps can be transition rough( they don't have to be tho) and as long as he has friends it will make it easier.

Sheds are really foul. Ours especially, come in for a quick break and lunch and some farming on facebook (at least its clean!!)

got two bags for the charity shop, a car load for the tip and me gripping a dust pan and brush for dear life.

Good luck taking the bag to the charity shop, I tried the other week, one was being refurbished and couldn't take them, and the other two were shut. So I gave them to someone on freecycle. She'd emailed me about something that had already gone because she was doing a charity car boot so I phoned her and said 'do you want 8 bags of women's clothes and a bag of odds and ends'. She was a bit shocked when she collected them and realised I wasn't exaggerating! (I know I should have ebayed/car booted them, but I'm just not in a place to be able to do that right now and want to declutter to help the 'new me').

Glad to hear you son is calm about the whole thing Spud - might take a while to settle in but then it is a transition for all of them isn't it. Has he been to look around or anything - so he can see where his classroom is etc?

My kids can be so bloody selfish:mad:

They have only just came downstairs.........

DS2 complained that I havent got the kind of cereal that he likes

DS1 would not take the cake box to the bin after he ate the last piece of Birthday cake cause he says he was going back upstairs........

    Selfish little toads they are:mad:

Dont give a hoot that I feel like death warmed up.......

    Rant over :o
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
