Morning all -

i had a childfree and dateless night at home last night. I actually went to bed feeling rather lonely and sorry for myself as noone had called/texted or got in touch... and by noone, i mean no chums or farmers....

anyway as i was driving into town this morning my phone went berserk, i had 12 text messages obviously some kinda blockage on the line and things were backing up.

about 8 of them were from Big G... everything from are you enjoying the peace n quiet without Erin, to..... you must have company you're not answering my texts to .... have i done something to upset you.

2 from farmer man. General chit chat... (but i'm secretly lolling cause it might do him good to wait for a reply for once!)

I was laughing my head off as i'd been so pee'd off noone had gotten in touch!


I had gotten up extra early so i could go for a swim before work today (free with a schweppes swimcap on a monday) but when i got to the pool they had a power cut so no can swim....

ended up in work at back of eight and will maybe take an hour for lunch and get my swim then.... sure boss won't mind as i explained why i was in so early.

Well, the kaka will probably well n truly hit the fan today....suffice to say huuuggge changes ahead in the SRM household....can't go into detail but there's a roller coaster comin' and I'm strapped to it!!!!

Morning Everyone.

Had a busy weekend, lacked motivation with a capital "L" on saturday, but did find it and got loads done in the end. Much better mood now.

(Read your thread as well Sally.) So you have an allotment as well, how many of us are on here. I love our lottie, I share with my SIL.

I have got to pop and see a client this morning, and I shall do somethings off of my "work to do list". I have got into bad habbits and have to get out of them.

Hi Saving yes I have an allotment, had it since January and at the moment I am struggling to keep on top of it. Its very large and I get no help other than my own and very occasionally my mum so with a job, house and child its a challenge to get there everyday. All the same I do love spending time there and planning what to do next!

Sally could you not persuade your OH to give you a hand now that he is not working, maybe it would do him good to get out of the house and do something rewarding.

Last week of hols for me.......I am getting that churning feeling in my stomach already but I will be fine once I get there I am sure. Looking forward to starting my new role too:D

Random question but what is the difference between a HD ready TV and a HD TV

Boys are asking for a HD telly between them for Christmas for the games room as most of the games are in HD. They start from £99 in Tesco but say HD ready.

they go up to £1500:eek::rotfl: I would want a car for that amount of money.
