Hi annabel,
It does sound as though it is beyond saving, but there is some advice on this thread that might be worth trying.
Cleaning suede
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together. Do come back and tell us if anything works.

Yes I think it is past all hope but will be putting in wash machine and then following some of the tips there. Doesnt address the colour though...!! will let you know if any success. I think its worth trying...0

The very last place I would be putting a suede jacket is in a washing-machine!
If you want to clean and restore it, I think you should just bite the bullet and buy some suede dye. It's not even that expensive, compared to a new jacket. Or even give it a go with some fabric/suede-cleaner first but if it has faded it'll definitely need dyeing.0 -
My daughter is heartbroken, as she has managed to drop a slice of pizza (tomato sauce side down, inevitably) on her beige suede boots.
It has left a horrendous stain, which has only slightly improved with suede cleaner spray and a suede brush.
Any ideas to improve it would be gratefully appreciated!0 -
Try baby shampoo whisked into warm water and just use the froth to work into the stain and leave for a few hours before using warm water gently to sponge it."This site is addictive!"

If you don't manage to get the mark out you could over-dye them a darker colour. You can get special suede colour stuff you brush on. I've used it on a pair of nice Clarks smart trainers that I got really cheap because one had been in the window display and faded.0

Is there any way of cleaning suede boots safely? I have recently had a baby and was wearing my lovely new suede boots when my waters went, they ended up soaked inside and out . Obviously, cleaning them wasn't a priority during labour so they have been left and forgotten about for a few weeks now. What is the best way of cleaning them? Please don't say I need to bin them!0

You don't need to bin, I recall an episode of that thing with mrs money penny using bicarb or talc I can't remember which, probably bicarb, dust it on, rub it in, rub it off. Repeat for as long as it takes for the stain to come out.
Failing that, if they're an investment pair of boots, get them to a dry cleaner.
