Just popping in to let you all know that I have a new granddaughter, born by Caesarian within the last half hour. DS2 doesn't yet know the weight but she's fit and healthy and gorgeous! Will fill you in on all the details when I can.

Mushroom burgers for tea last night and same for me for lunch today. OH found some anise toodstools too which are dehydrating at home - I'll grind these when they are dry and use them for seasoning. Tea is pasta with fridge sauce of some description. I might make cake if I get home early enough.

I tend to only spend time here in the winter when I'm sitting with the SAD lamp. At the moment my left arm is strapped up as I have lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow!) and I'm supposed to be resting it. Me? Resting? I think they have the wrong woman! Anyway, I shall next make a catering plan for the rest of the week. Visitors Wednesday, so will have to get the kids on boardI think,

DD helped me to make some strawberry icecream yesterday. that will do for pud one night when the visitors are here. Loads of food in the freezer and cupboards, so will try to make do with that as much as possible, although there will be a need to shop for some bits and pieces, also for the forthcoming camping trip. FOrgot to ask dh to take my car today. DD is insured to drive his so could have been my driver.

Nice to read how you are all doing, I've been lurking for a week or so again, but only just got back to posting this morning.

Have been lurking this past week, but relly busy! Bedroom is now finished, looks fabulous! Really pleased with it:T Pleasure to go in there now. Just need to get the rest of the house to match now!:rotfl:

DS is fine. Still working at the moment, waiting for Uni to start.

DD is pregnant again. Hopefully this time it will all go well. She feels much better about thi one, so fingers crossed.:o

Saw my step-grandaughter last week. She's walking round the furnitre and crawling everywhere. Don't see enough of her really but they live 80 miles away, so when we do it's lovely.

Must hover today, house is filthy. I'm still recovering from a fallI had at Ex-FIL's funeral. Luckily it was in the sitting room and notoutside. Knee collapsed, ankle turned over and I hit my thigh on the coffee table. HUGE bruise on my thigh, which is still all colours.:o
