Old Style Daily Monday 17th August

Morning all
Fingers crossed for Moliere's DIL, sometimes a caesarian is the safest way, I had 1 caeser & 3 t'other sort(& 1 ectopic & 3 mis's).
Hubby's had his b'fast & is at work, we both slept well after working Sat night, we closed at 1 & had cleanup & were in bed by 2, but were up at 6, neither of us seem to be able to sleep in. Still the money will be useful.
I'm going to be a lady wot lunches today & then back to work tomorrow.

Well the twins did have a lot better night last night thay only woke up twice!
Thay both look and seem a lot better this morning so dont thnink we will be taking them to the doctors today.
My mom and dad are having them today. thay alwys enjoy going to there grand parents for the day.

I myself am off to my wifes nans house to cut her grass for her she only has about 8 sqft of it But can no longer cut it herself.
Wont take me long to do.
As for the rest of my day not a clue as to wont im going to do. but im sure that i will find somthing.

Dinner tonight will be somthing with pork

just heard on the news of a little girl gone missing in the sea in essex - doesnt sound good they have been searching and found nothing- poor girl and family

I will post later more in depth on the dailies but just wanted to post any say I've got my fingers crossed for Kathys DIL and new grandchild.Hope everything turns out well and cant wait for news

Halight - I'm glad the twins seem better today!

Have had a quick clean round and done some washing so far, later am doing my fortnightly cleaning job then this afternoon after DH has had a sleep we're off to Worcester so DH can fit a new fan belt in DS1s car.
We also need to bath the dogs again as one of them had another little visitor I noticed yesterday. I've got some good quality stuff to use this time as the stuff from the pet shop was rubbish. I will also get some of the stuff you put on them to keep the little critters at bay.

halight - glad the twins are getting better

Mushroom burgers for tea last night and same for me for lunch today. OH found some anise toodstools too which are dehydrating at home - I'll grind these when they are dry and use them for seasoning. Tea is pasta with fridge sauce of some description. I might make cake if I get home early enough.

Hi folk's I'm still about and I do read just really busy these day's
It looks like I'm going to have my knee replaced as it's affecting my other joints badly with the way I walk .
I'm still trying to be as os as I can but some days it just doesn't quite get there ,today is one of those days ds2 has to have 5 teeth out today which means sedation as he has a needle phobia aand the nearest clinic to us is over an hours drive away so I'd better get my rather ample backside into gear and get a move on

Good luck Mioliere - hope your D-in-L gets some well deserved rest soon!
I'm glad twins are better Halight - it's so hard when they are unwell and little!
Sun shining here and young dog's bedding is in WM. She is getting itchy again (seasonal allergies) but so far we have managed it with lots of hot washes of bedding and some anti-itch lotion. I think she will probably need steroids again at some point but I'll keep an eye on it.
I have a l o n g list of jobs for today and plan to start them at 9am - eeek 3 mins.
We've had my sister and her Dh staying for the weekend and it was lovely. Ended up buying too much food + they brought as well so tea should be easy for the rest of the week.
Bought 2 lavender plants at the weekend and have put them in pots at each side of the front door. Need to do some more cutting back of bushes today in the back garden. It is getting much brighter - I hadn't realised how much the shrubs had grown. Haribo - thinking of you with the damage to your garden.
