So the most important things I can do going forwards to improve the current situation, especially in terms of the day to day stresses are
    a) stop drinking - this is the real biggie for 2010 as when I do this, hopefully the rest will follow more easily
    b) keep taking the hormones
    d) keep cuddling the guineas
    e) keep posting on here (including other peeps diaires as I have not been good at this recently :o)
    f) get back into doing regular exercise
    g) find better clients and up the work/income
    h) develop a proper routine (minus dressing gown) that keeps my house tidy and organised but also includes quality time for ME
    i) keep up with the counselling that is teaching me not to buy into all the world's problems

Hopefully this action plan addresses all your points Numpty Hun ;) :kisses3::A

So the final thing to do today is to say a very big
    THANK YOU

to all my friends and fellow DFW's :T:Tand wish you all

    A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR
MAY YOU ALL ACHIEVE YOUR HEARTS' DESIRES IN 2010.
    Onwards and upwards my friends

Hope you have a great 2010 Wol Honey.....you are due a fabulous year !! :j:j

I highlighted the above as I stopped drinking this year with the help of the `cutting down/ giving up` thread on these diaries....fabulous bunch & some amazing hints & tips...gave me so much motivation & kept me sane on my `weaker` moments.

    Hi Angie

Oh Well done my dear for cutting it out this year....:T:T....That's a BIG achievement.

I lurk often on the GUA thread and have even PM'd a couple of people who were wavering at various points......but so far never summoned up the courage to post myself :o. My problem is white wine - and that I can;t stop until I;ve finished a whole bottle...and although I managed to reduce consumption (in terms of AFD) by 50% for a few months - the last few weeks have pushed it back up again . Funny though - I have a drinks trolley well stocked with spirits and I very rarely touch those.

I really DO need to join the AFD chllenge for Jan (after midnight tonight of course ;)).

I have already taken the major step of not stocking any wine in the house and the good news is that our local Wine rack has now closed down (but there's still Tatco's Express and Co-Op within easy walking distance :o).

The GP and the counsellor are also in the loop - guess it;s now time for me to bite the bullet

Happy New Year Hun - hope things improve for you (and that you manage to sleep better ;))

    Hugs and kisses
    Love Wol and the piggies
