sorry to hear about your mum, i think we share the same one, mine is just as calous and told my sister she shouldn't be spending so much on her rabbit and should have just 'done the deed'.
You're piggies are being sent hugs and squeaks from my two little girls and my bunny boy, and i send you hugs for all you've had to put up with recently.0

:eek:....you mean there could be two of them out there (mums I mean) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanx for the hugs LT - sounds like you need some back :grouphug::grouphug:...(and some little piggie kisses from Beechie Boy who even started licking the vet today while he was being "examined" ) )
Sigh.....I don;t know what is wrong with that boy - ever since he's become a lounge piggie he's started licking everyone - in the old days he would have had the vets hand off for poking him in his privates :rotfl:
I think your girls had better watch out LT as he's becoming a right "Larry"
(edit - but he's been "done" so at least the patter of tiny paws will be avoided:cool:)

Sending Baldrick over with a cunning plan to sort Mother out..it may not work however; in which case we will have to send in Queenie..:)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0

Mr Blackadder always says, when the going gets tough, the tough hide under the table.....(or duvet in my case :rotfl::rotfl:)
Hmmm........I quite like the idea of sending in Queenie ...not sure who'd win though :rotfl::rotfl:

Well today is the last day of Shi**y Year no 2...and quite frankly it can;t be over quick enough.
I have been really shocked at the slide in my mental wellbeing and how completely lacking in motivation I have become over the last three months. I have worn out two dressing gowns in the process :rotfl::rotfl:.......and still haven;t started my accounts yet _pale_
Thank you to all my friends on here for all your encouragement and support - you have been an absolute lifeline :T :A
I don;t think the problems with the guineas have helped (in fact I think they have been a major contributing factor) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at some time in the next week or so we can find the cause of the problem, treat them and I can start to relax (mentally and financially ) )
The turning point for me was slapping on the hormone patch on Christmas Eve - today I feel (and according to a friend of mine yesterday, also sound) much stronger and more cheerful.
However..by my reckoning I have another 7 months to go before I will feel that stability and normality is finally restored following the flood. Much of this is now dependent upon the Ombudsman as unless they decide the insurance company should reimburse me for some of the losses I will not be able to rectify the house (and the kitchen in particular). I was originally aiming to be able to get this done in the spring as I was hoping for a decision in Dec/Jan. However the Law that is SOD has decreed that the Adjudicator who was working on my case has now been transferred to another department and a new one has to pick up my case :wall:...... and so the clock starts all over again. (in effect therefore I have lost 3 months ). ).
Nevertheless.....I shall just let the Ombudsman thingie plod on and put it to the back of my mind. It's time to stop the rot and take charge of myself and my life..I know I can never be the same person I was before the breakdown...and I must stop judging myself so severely....but quite frankly, my dear, improvements HAVE to be made
So the most important things I can do going forwards to improve the current situation, especially in terms of the day to day stresses are
 a) stop drinking - this is the real biggie for 2010 as when I do this, hopefully the rest will follow more easily
 b) keep taking the hormones
 d) keep cuddling the guineas
 e) keep posting on here (including other peeps diaires as I have not been good at this recently ) )
 f) get back into doing regular exercise
 g) find better clients and up the work/income
 h) develop a proper routine (minus dressing gown) that keeps my house tidy and organised but also includes quality time for ME
 i) keep up with the counselling that is teaching me not to buy into all the world's problems
Hopefully this action plan addresses all your points Numpty Hun :kisses3::A :kisses3::A
So the final thing to do today is to say a very bigTHANK YOU
to all my friends and fellow DFW's :T:Tand wish you all
A VERY HAPPY NEW YEARMAY YOU ALL ACHIEVE YOUR HEARTS' DESIRES IN 2010.Onwards and upwards my friends Flooded 20/07/07 Flooded 20/07/07 . .
