Aw Wol I am so sorry for you. Big hugs from down under. What a month for you one way and another. I know some will say it is 'only' an animal, but take some time out for you. Even if you have to lie to a client to get the time off. your piggies mean the world to you and some would't understand how upset you must be right now. Really am very sorry love and hugs chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Aww Wol, i am so sorry, as others have said far more eloquently than i , thinking of you. xxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
I am so sorry to hear the news Wol Honey. Thankfully she did`nt suffer for long & you were with her.:A:A
The loss of a anyone close is devestating be it human or pet . Remember its because we love them that it hurts so much. Give those other piggies lots of cuddles as they will miss her too.
Hugs, Angiexx0 -
sending you hugs, and hugs to your remaining piggies who have lost their friend.
She was a beautiful piggie who has obviously had a good life with you.
Sat at work crying, (unfortunately someone's just walking in the office)
I lost my piggie G'day earlier this year to a stroke so she will be waiting at heavens gate to welcome Pebbles.0 -

Thanks everyone.
Feel a bit glum and listless today..and not done much work..
I put Bailey in with Muffin last night so she wouldn't miss Pebble too much. Pebble was the most gentlest of guineas and was always the one I let children handle because she would just sit there licking your fingers (and pee all over Lula :rotfl:). I shall miss her frantic attempts to get her nose in the food bowl at feeding time :rotfl:...and just hope Muffin will bond with Bailey and not pine.
I have decided to put Pebble "on ice" (;)) til next weekend. I'm away this weekend and I don;t want to rush burying her in the new monkey garden today as the whole area needs a proper finalised planting scheme and I want to ensure a lovely rose is planted on her grave that won;t need to be dug up/moved etc and disturb her in the future.
I've spent the most of the day researching the web and have come to the conclusion that it could very well have been a genetic heart condition (both her Auntie and her Brother died very suddenly lastyear)...
I have checked over all the piggies and rung the vets to let them know about Pebble I also have concerns regarding two of the rest of the pigs who were operated on. Muffin (her mum) and Beech (her cousin) have more dull/corase coats than normal and are shedding rather a lot - could just be time of year as they are all moulting into their winter coats - but need to keep an eye on this and if necessary get them both Xrayed next week.
Just having a long natter with Numpty ..putting the MSE world to rights...
